As there is some uncertainty about Princess Ilana's age, Bakalova set the record straight by revealing the following about her Creature Commands character:

Yes. I didn't actually talk about it directly, but I got a call from James [when he was] writing this character, thinking about myself playing this character, which means that [she] will probably be around my age, early 20s, 27-28, a little before 30. So she can [have the] innocence of: 'Okay, I'm still young, but I'm an adult, so all my choices are conscious choices that I'm making – to do something with them.'

What Princess Ilana's Age Means for Creature Commands
