Pedro Pascal is officially on set

In perhaps one of the most exciting updates yet, Pascal's presence on set was recently confirmed by Din Djarin's co-star Lateef Crowder, who performs most of the Mandalorian's stunts. In an Instagram Story that has already expired, Crowder captured himself heading to the set of The Mandalorian and Grogutagging Pascal's Instagram at the bottom and saying “Stretch well daddy!“ Given the fact that Pascal has just finished filming The Fantastic Four: Getting Startedit was totally unexpected that he was on the set of this film.
Of course, this led us to believe that there will indeed be at least one scene of Din Djarin without a helmet included in the film. The Mandalorian and Groguwhich is absolutely essential to your success. This is not only due to Pascal's talent in his facial acting, but also because Din's face hasn't been seen on screen since. The Mandalorian season 2 finale – which was, at the time of writing, almost 4 years ago. Din's face doesn't appear The Mandalorian season three was a huge point of contention, which makes Pascal's presence on set all the more promising.
There is, however, another, more exciting layer to this. With Crowder playfully encouraging Pascal to “stretch“, this makes it seem likely that Pascal himself will have to perform some stunts in the Mandalorian's beskar suit – which could mean a helmetless fight scene is in store. This would be the first time viewers have seen something like this without Din's helmet obscuring his face, though that's purely speculation at this point.

Rotta The Hutt is returning
He will be voiced by Jeremy Allen White
Another more recent, and very shocking, news is that Rotta the Hutt will have a role in the The Mandalorian and Grogu. Jabba the Hutt's son was first introduced in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Warswho inspired the animation Star Wars TV show of the same name. Rotta hasn't been seen since, even after his father's death, but apparently he will return soon. The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Additionally, Rotta will also be voiced by Jeremy Allen White, who is best known for her role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the FX/Hulu film. The Bear. The announcement of this news sent the internet into a hilarious spiral, mainly because of how absurd it seemed at first for White to voice a character as obscure as Jabba the Hutt's son. These reports, however, seem to insist that Rotta will have a very influential role in the story.although it's not yet clear exactly what that will look like.

An imperial warlord from The Mandalorian season 3 is back
Jonny Coyne's Warlord Could Be the Main Villain
The latest recent news is that a small villainous figure from The Mandalorian season 3 will return in The Mandalorian and Grogu to, most likely, assume a more significant role. Jonny Coyne played a character simply called “Imperial Warlord” on the Imperial Shadow Council in The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7 “Chapter 23: The Spies.” Although he mainly acted as a background character in this scene its inclusion in The Mandalorian and Grogu proves he's anything but insignificant.
The Imperial Shadow Council will no doubt be in something of a disarray following the sudden death of Moff Gideon at the hands of the Mandalorians, as seen in The Mandalorian season 3 finale. Now that Grand Admiral Thrawn has returned to the main topic, Star Wars galaxy, however, he could be taking command of the Imperial Shadow Council and perhaps assigning more tasks and responsibilities to these warlords. He could even approve of Coyne's warlord's desire to target the hyperspace lanes to cause appropriate chaos.

There are connections between the warlord and the pirates of Coyne
This character spoke of the advantages of plundering the hyperspace lanes during this age of chaos, which has huge implications for this film in retrospect. At the moment, Star Wars Is Exploring Hyperspace Route Plunder in Pirate-Themed TV Show Star Wars: Skeleton Crewsomething that is mentioned directly in the program's opening text. This could very well mean that, at the end of your run, Skeleton Crew season 1 will have the proper setup for Coyne's imperial warlord to take the spotlight as a villain in The Mandalorian and Grogu.
It would undoubtedly be a great thrill to see pirates as the main antagonists in a Star Wars film, although this is again speculation at this point. Pirates have long been part of the Star Wars galaxy, but are rarely seen in live action. THE Star Wars animated TV shows, mainly The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebelsgo deeper with pirates like Hondo Ohnaka, and now The Mandalorian and Grogu may be doing these pirates another favor on the big screen.

Zeb is officially back on The Mandalorian and Grogu
Although it wasn't a huge surprise given the character's cameo in The Mandalorian season 3, it was confirmed that Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios from Rebels fame will return in The Mandalorian and Grogu. At this point in his life, Zeb is a New Republic officer training new recruits at Outpost Adelphi, the same base as Captain Carson Teva. Considering Din Djarin is technically a “new recruit,” albeit unofficially hired, it makes sense that Zeb would be part of his story.
Rarely do these characters get the chance to see live action, much less make it to the big screen in a Star Wars film.
This is incredibly exciting for anyone who likes Star Wars animation, but mainly Rebels. Zeb means Din Djarin is working with the New Republic heroes of Adelphi Base
Din Djarin's network of allies is growing
Speaking of the Adelphi Outpost, Zeb's inclusion in the story seems to imply that more New Republic rangers based in Adelphi will also be part of Din Djarin's story. Given how distant Din seemed to want to be from the rangers when he made his offer to Captain Teva to work as an “independent contractor” bounty hunter, this is a promising sign of some character growth for him. Instead of working entirely alone, he will likely have to start relying more on his resources and personnel.
This could introduce audiences to a new range of New Republic heroes beyond Zeb and Captain Teva. Any friendship Din forms outside of these two could significantly raise the emotional stakes in the heat of battle.which is mandatory in a film of this scale. It would also add to Din's ever-growing collection of random allies across the galaxy, giving him a good foundation to lean on in just about any situation.

Din Djarin will likely receive a new shaving coat of arms
Almost more significant to some of us than Zeb himself in the exclusive footage shown at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was the valiant return of Razor Crest. Of course it's not Din Djarin's original Razor Crestwhich was completely demolished by Moff Gideon on Tython in The Mandalorian 2nd seasonbut it appears to be a very similar model. This is very promising for those who were hoping Din would receive a major ship upgrade, as his N-1 starfighter no longer meets the needs of his growing family.
Din's possible acquisition of a Razor Crest it also seems to indicate his character's arc to a certain point in the film. The original Razor Crest it was destroyed as a symbol of Din's old life left behind, as he was no longer just a lonely bounty hunter – not after meeting Grogu. He's had to rediscover himself, both without and with Grogu, and now that he's done that, he can start to return to these familiar things with a whole new perspective.and a healthier one.

Grogu works more independently now
Din's character arc isn't the only one hinted at, however. It looks like Grogu will also prove how much he's grown The Mandalorian and Groguas the footage shows Grogu going off alone during a mission, as if he had been given his own tasks. This makes sense with what was established at the end of The Mandalorian season 3, when Din was tasked by the Armorer to take Grogu on his apprentice journeys and train him as a Mandalorian apprentice.
Grogu's training clearly paid off for Din to trust him on his own. Grogu has certainly proven himself in recent times, although; he saved his father's life on two separate occasions, and the last time it was just Grogu alone without any help other than his IG-12 mech suit. It will be a thrill, no doubt, to see how Grogu continues to grow in The Mandalorian and Groguand how he gained his independence in the break between the TV show and the film.
