Meri Brown is more villainous than Kody Brown (she's being loyal to the wrong family members)

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has always been presented as the victim of her polygamous husband, Kody Brown, but she is the main architect of his unhappiness. Meri, 53, was Kody's first wife, and the two married in 1990. Although they came from polygamous families, when they got married, the plan wasn't necessarily to get more wives. The truth is, even in the best of times, Meri wasn't close to Christine and Janelle, so nothing changed. Meri's power struggles with Christine and Janelle are why she wanted Kody to marry Robyn in the first place.

Understandable anger

Meri tried to make the marriage work for much longer than she should have, but the Sister Wives the season 19 star finally snapped and walked away. Once she decided to leave, Meri stopped protecting Kody and Robyn, finally letting out all the anger she had been holding back. Although she was combative and emotional, it is perfectly understandable that she's angry about all the time she wasted being neglected by Kody. Meri should have left the marriage a long time ago, but since she can't change the past, it's better to move on and build a new life.
