Set in the United States, Supernatural followed Sam and Dean Winchester's 15-year journey across the United States in an effort to save people and hunt various supernatural monsters. As a result of the program's substantial amount of lore and history, there have been many major changes since Supernatural season 1 until the show's conclusion in 2020. One of the biggest changes came due to the gambling problem the fantasy show faced each season, leading to the introduction of parallel worlds in Supernatural multiverse as one of the main story arcs in the series' final seasons.
Regardless of the growing threats against the world, for the most part, Supernatural followed the general premise of two brothers on a low-budget road trip. This premise meant that the Winchesters were consistently on the road in their trusty 1967 Chevrolet Impala, something that is appreciated by both the characters and the fanbase, as well as the Impala provided stability for the Winchesters after they lost their home. However, in season 8, Sam and Dean Winchester discovered the Bunker for the first time, a location that would become fundamental in future seasons and mark one of the most important moments in history. The location and origin of the Supernatural bunker

Supernatural Bunker was first introduced as a concept in Season 8 Episode 12, “As Time Goes By”, due to the introduction of Henry Winchester and the Men of Letters. Strangely enough, the Bunker is located in Lebanon, Kansas, the Winchesters' hometown as established by Supernatural season 1, episode 1. The mysterious building belonged to a secret organization known as Men of Letters, the “preceptors, observers, observers, chroniclers”of supernatural phenomena, and was originally created in 1932. Construction lasted three years, with the first case investigated being that of Dorothy Baum, whose father was himself a Man of Letters.
According to Robert Singer, Supernatural executive producer, Adam Glass, “we had this idea and we really latched onto it right away” citing that “it will become a kind of base for the boys.” Among its first occupants were Peter Jenkins and James Haggerty, members of the Men of Letters, who helped investigate the disappearance of Dorothy Baum and the Wicked Witch of the West, as stated in Season 9, Episode 4, “Slumber Party.” However, Sam and Dean soon made the Bunker their home, and it became one of the most important things for the characters later on. The Bunker has numerous rooms and multiple levels, making it a confusing maze to navigate. The front door opens to a staircase that descends to the main level, leading to the War Room and library. Two main hallways branch off from the War Room, leading to several different rooms, including bedrooms, showers, living areas, and storage rooms. Interestingly, the Bunker also has a shooting range, dungeon, kitchen, garage and infirmary. The most prominent room is the library, as the Winchesters often gather there.and went to the website of one of the Supernatural saddest deaths.

After rescuing the refugees from Apocalypse World, many of them could be seen around the Bunker, which became their base of operations, with Sam posing as their leader. Supernatural The Bunker often hosts guests, such as Mitch Davies and Charlie Bradbury, however, it is unknown how many vacant rooms the Bunker has. The Bunker has at least 24 missing room numbers, although other rooms, such as the Laundry Room, may occupy one of these numbersbut it can be assumed that many of them are rooms, especially given the influx of refugees staying in the Bunker.
How Sam and Dean Acquired the Bunker on Supernatural
Henry Winchester was a member of the Men of Letters
Sam and Dean acquired the Bunker in Supernatural due to the Winchester family's history with the Men of Letters. In 1958, Henry Winchester (Sam and Dean's paternal grandfather) enters the Men of Letters building and finds its occupants killed by the demon Abaddon.. A survivor gives Henry a box with the symbol of the Men of Letters, and Henry escapes by diving into a portal to the future. Upon meeting his grandchildren, Sam and Dean, Henry tries to return to his own time after reading John Winchester's diary, realizing that his son thought his father had abandoned him as a child.
Arriving at the Bunker, Sam and Dean are shocked to discover that the place has power after 80 years of neglect, and they quickly settle in.
Henry's escape attempt is thwarted when Abaddon takes Sam hostage, and he dies after helping the Winchester brothers kill Abaddon. Henry gives Sam and Dean the mysterious box the Hellknight was looking forwhich was previously explained by the Man of Letters, Larry Ganem, as containing a key to a “supernatural vein.” Arriving at the Bunker, Sam and Dean are shocked to discover that the place has power after 80 years of neglect, and they quickly settle in. Men of letters protected their secrets
To protect the secrets of the Men of Letters, the Bunker was heavily guarded to keep out even the most powerful creatures in the world. Supernatural. Larry Ganem explained that “You are protected against any evil ever created.” Most of the Bunker's wards were designed by Cuthbert Sinclair, the former Master of Charms for the Men of Letters, and were used to prohibit entry to any supernatural beings and monsters. However, Castiel and Jack were able to enter the Bunker freely, as it was apparently not designed to prevent Angels from entering, despite protections being in place to do so.
The Men of Letters' lack of protection against the Angels also had negative effects, as Gadreel's presence resulted in Kevin's death in the Supernatural episode, “Holy Terror.” Mrs. Butters is another person capable of overcoming the Bunker's protection due to the Wood Nymph's position as the building's protector. However, some beings also managed to break through the protection and enter the Bunker, causing carnagelike Amara and Alternate Michael, who physically destroyed the celestial protection that kept them at bay. After Amara's destruction of the heavenly protection, Darkness, God, the Void, and Death could enter the Bunker freely.
What does the Supernatural Bunker contain?

The Men of Letters Bunker is home to many different archives filled with scrolls, books and artifacts. It's also home to a collection of vintage vehicles, including Winchester's famous Impala. The library's walls are lined with bookshelves, containing files and books documenting such things as accounts of every exorcism performed over three hundred years, case files, incident reports, information on allied hunters, obscure spells, mythological knowledge and much more. Sam and Dean often used these files in their research into the latest threats, as they discovered new information that they had never heard of before in the hunting community.
While examining the Bunker's artifacts, Dean finds the Spear of Destiny, which bears a resemblance to the one seen in Constantineand one of the six Keys to Oz; a powerful artifact that served as a quick and safe way to travel to the magical kingdom of Oz. Both Sam and Dean also brought items back to the Bunker for storage, such as Dean's Purgatory Blade, which he displayed in his room. However, although the Bunker was an important part of the Supernatural for its vast knowledge, it served primarily as a home for the Winchesters for seven seasons.
