NYX #6 – written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, with art by Michael Shelfer – follows Kamala Khan and her mutant rights activist friends as they take a break to attend a Dazzler concert. Before the team has a chance to let loose, the show is interrupted by Local, a mutant technopath in the employ of “Mr. Amigo”, Mojo's doll made from the corpse of a mutant.
As the mutants fight Local, Mojo takes control of Local's body, officially adding another doll to his collection. It's rare for Mojo to slip down to Earth, but now he's back with a new plot and set of sinister powers.

Although Mojo has yet to confess his evil plan, he has openly boasted about the scale of his next project. In NYX #2, Wolverine crosses paths with Mojo.
