One of the coolest aspects of LEGO Batman is its gadgets that can be rebuilt on the fly with a little imagination, including the Batmobile. Although exploring LEGO Gotham is not possible in real life, LEGO Batman: The Batman Immersive Experience Give anyone the opportunity to get as close as possible to the idea. This includes going for a ride in the iconic LEGO Batmobile, traveling alongside LEGO Batman himself.

LEGO Batman: The Batman Immersive Experience is a fun way to explore the world of LEGO characters. It’s basically a five-minute VR “ride” in which Batman takes the player on an adventure. It starts in the Batcave before Batman explains what VR is like and offers the player a chance to experience what it’s like to ride in the Batmobile. It offers 360 degree views of LEGO Gotham while the Batmobile eventually transforms and takes flight.

The experience continues with Batman fighting a number of his most iconic villains. Finally, Batman takes the player to the Fortress of Solitude where Superman is holding a party. The Dark Knight shows off his wicked dance moves before Alfred reminds him that it’s just a VR simulation. It is quite short overall, however Impressive in terms of immersion nonetheless. A VR headset is needed for the best experience, but is not required.

The LEGO Batman Movie Was a highly enjoyable time from start to finish, but it never saw the character continue into a sequel. For fans of the movie, this VR spin-off is the perfect way to spend a few minutes in the world again. With Will Arnett as Batman as well, it works as a fun companion piece to the movie.

It’s a shame that The LEGO Batman Movie Never got a sequel, because of how wonderful of an adaptation of the character it really is. For those looking to experience a little more of the world, LEGO Batman: The Batman Immersive Experience is a solid, albeit short, detour back into that universe. Besides, being able to ride alongside Batman in the Batmobile (in VR) is too great to pass up.
