The short term of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is almost over, but there is still Lots for players to do before the final event begins and the downtime for Chapter 6 begins. Similar to last year’s Chapter 4 Season OG release, Epic Games has begun ending each year of Fortnite seasons with a throwback. This year, Chapter 2 had time to shine, albeit only for a month. With the season so condensed, there was very limited time for players to finish their battle passes and spend some time on the Chapter 2 map.
Although there is always a lot to do before starting a new Fortnite season, this becomes especially true right before a new chapter begins. Almost everything will be different, both from what players have come to expect during Chapter 5 and from this shorter interim Remix season. All Fortnite the player will likely have a different checklist of personal priorities to complete before downtime begins, but there are some important things all fans might want to try and wrap up before Chapter 2 Remix is gone forever.
When the Fortnite Chapter 2 remix ends
The deadline is quickly approaching
Downtime for the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is officially scheduled to begin on 10pm ET on November 30, 2024. Matchmaking is usually disabled 30 minutes before servers shut down. This is significantly earlier than most typical season ends, so players should note this specific deadline.
Currently, not much is known about Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Call Huntersbut it is scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 1, 2024. This could change, however, if Epic encounters technical difficulties. Teasers Fortnite Social media pages suggest the season will include aspects of Japanese history and mythology and involve collaborations with Disney’s Godzilla and Baymax. Big Hero Six.
Everything you must complete
Start by finishing the battle pass
Finishing the Battle Pass is the most important thing for Fortnite players before the conclusion of Chapter 2 Remix, as the season was incredibly short with limited opportunities to earn XP outside of normal gameplay. The Battle Pass is also abridged, with players needing to reach level 50 to unlock the Shadow Meowdas outfit and complete the regular Battle Pass, and level 70 to unlock all bonus rewards, including Super Styles.
In addition to playing regular matches and earning XP that way, there are a few other things players should try to do in the remaining days of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, including:
- Complete missions: There have been far fewer Quests this season, but players should do their best to at least finish all four weeks of Chapter 2 Weekly Remix Quests, as many Daily Quests as possible every day until the end of the season, and as many Milestones and Milestone stages when they can claim enough XP to level up.
- Find the gnomes: There are Gnomes hidden throughout the island, and finding and interacting with each one grants bonus XP, which can be useful when trying to achieve the Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass Super Styles.
- Play other game modes: You can also earn lots of Season XP by playing some of Fortnite’s other modes, including Creator Made Island experiences, Lego Fortniteand Fortnite Festival.
Fortnite Quests are the fastest and most efficient way to earn XPso prioritize those in the last few days of the season and try other methods to supplement them. Completing weekly missions is also the only way to unlock the Dynamo TNTina outfit and cosmetic rewardstherefore, they must be completed first.
Attend the in-game concert and claim the free Juice Wrld skin
Fortnite fans should plan to log in to Remix: The Finale, a show on Battle Royale Island, on November 30, 2024, at 2pm ETor for the later planned encore performance. This event will feature music by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice and Juice WRLD, and will include a new Snoop Dogg single, “Another Part Of Me (feat. Sting)” and a new Juice WRLD track, “Empty Out Your Pockets .”
The Slayer Juice WRLD outfit, a special cel-shaded skin to honor the late rapper Juice WRLD, and a matching pickaxe, back bling, and loading screen, is available until the last day of the season, during Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix: The Finale event. Players can claim it by logging in anytime between 9am ET on November 25th and 10pm ET on November 30th. It will be available for use the next time they log in. After that, it will only be available for purchase in the Item Shop.
Everything else
Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix brought a lot of fun new weapons, powerful old and new NPCs, and nostalgic POIs that didn’t last long. Players should make a point of seeing and doing everything they want before the end, as a lot will likely change when Fortnite Chapter 6 officially begins. The NPC bosses in Fortnite All of the Chapter 2 Remixes have pretty good kits and incredibly powerful, fun, and enigmatic mythical weapons that are worth getting your hands on at least once before being saved. In particular, it’s worth fighting with Eminem’s Minigun in Spaghetti Grotto to try just once, as his particular trick is clever and worth a laugh. |
