Warning: Contains potential spoilers for DC Vs. Vampires: World War V #1!The iconic Batman Villain Quiet May just have achieved his most dramatic comeback in comic history by killing Batgirl In the best-selling Other worlds Series DC vs Vampires. If the next issue confirms the death of Barbara Gordon, it will not only throw DC’s vampire war into complete chaos, but also raise a critical question: who will step into the role of Batgirl? I think I may already have the answer.
Hush delivers Damian’s message, “Sic Separ Tyranis,” before detonating a bomb that engulfs them both in flames.
Matthew Rosenberg, Atat Schmidt and Pierluigi Casalino’s DC vs. Vampires: World War V #1 escalates the Other worlds epic by turning the already intense war between vampires and humans into a three-sided conflict involving Barbara’s vampire army, Damian’s vampire guerilla fighters and Earth’s remaining humans.
Along with this increased complexity, Rosenberg introduces new characters to the story, including Thomas Elliot – once Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend, now the villain Hush. Hush is particularly intriguing in this series, vi He sides with Damian Wayne and seemingly delivers a fatal blow to the vampire queen. However, there could be a major twist surrounding the villain’s ‘return’.

Hush Just Killed Vampire Queen Batgirl in DC vs. Vampires: World War V (I think)
Batgirl makes her sequel debut towards the end of DC vs. Vampires: World War V #1, standing on her balcony overlooking Gotham. However, her peaceful moment is suddenly interrupted when one of Damian’s guerilla fighter vampires sneaks up on her. Batgirl seems to recognize the vampire as Hus, but despite the bandages covering his face – Hus’s signature look – I’m not entirely convinced it’s himLike Damian’s other vampires were also shown with face bandages earlier in the issue. Regardless of his true identity, however, I believe that the vampire could have successfully killed Batgirl.
Despite calling for her guards, Batgirl is left to fend for herself as Damian’s widescale attack on her headquarters unfolds. She tackles Shush, only to discover that it was his plan all along. He delivers Damian’s message, “Seeker Seper Tyranis,” before setting off a bomb that engulfs them both in flames. Batgirl is shown burning alive before plummeting hundreds of stories. While the comic ends without confirming her death, the artwork strongly suggests it. This raises the crucial question of who will take over as the vampire ruler if Batgirl is dead or too injured to continue ruling.
Wonder Woman would most likely become the next Vampire Queen if Batgirl dies
Thanks to future solicitations, fans know that there is still a vampire queen in the series, although Barbara’s name is not specifically mentioned. This leaves room for the possibility that another female character took on the role. If that’s the case, I’m convinced it will be Wonder Woman. As one of the most powerful vampires in the series, she served under both Dick and Barbara during their reigns. This theory is further supported by Wonder Woman’s prominent presence in both the main and variant cover art, suggesting a major role. While I was excited to see Batgirl Continue as DC’s vampire queen, I wouldn’t mind if Wonder Woman steps into the role instead.
