All 42 Star Wars Lightsabers Disney Has Made Available for Purchase

Disney and Star Wars have created an impressive line of legacy lightsabers available in the parks and online. Inspired by the elegant weapons wielded by key Sith and Jedi characters from the Skywalker saga and beyond, there is a type of lightsaber for every type of fan around the world. Star Wars timeline. Disney’s legacy lightsabers were produced in conjunction with the opening of Disneyland and Disneyworld. Star Wars-Galaxy’s Edge themed land in 2019, offering detailed collectible sabers for guests in addition to the custom lightsaber making experience featured in “Savi’s Workshop.” Although some of these initial blades were retired, a good number and variety of lightsaber colors made their way to ShopDisney.com in the years that followed, including limited edition boxes and more. Keeping this in mind, here are all 42 legacy lightsabers that were made so far and where they can be purchased.

Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber

First appeared: Return of the Jedi

One of Disney’s newest additions to the Legacy Lightsaber line celebrating Return of the Jedi On the 40th anniversary, Luke Skywalker’s green-bladed lightsaber is currently available in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, located in Galaxy’s Edge. This was the same blade used by Luke in both The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fettand The Last Jedi Main flashback featuring the Jedi Master and his apprentice Ben Solo.

Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber

First appeared: Revenge of the Sith

Although it was originally presented in a limited edition Revenge of the Sith box set that also came with Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber, Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber has already been sold individually at Dok-Ondar’s. Unlike future versions of the Skywalker saber, Anakin’s lightsaber has some unique elements, including the silver texture of the central component surrounding the activation button.

Skywalker Saber

First appeared: The Empire Strikes Back

The most classic Skywalker saber is the one seen in Empire Strikes Back wielded by Luke Skywalker, as well as in the first two films of the sequel trilogy in the hands of Rey. Unlike the Skywalker saber seen in A New Hope With its “bubble band”, the Skywalker saber has the more common gold plate next to the activation button. Although available at Dok-Ondar’s, the Skywalker saber can be purchased online with a blade included.

Reforged Skywalker Saber

First appeared: The Rise of Skywalker

The Reforged Skywalker saber was first seen in The Rise of Skywalkerhaving been repaired by Rey after being split in two, as seen in The Last Jedi. It notably features a brown leather piece wrapped around the center.

Rey Skywalker Lightsaber

First appeared: The Rise of Skywalker

As seen in the final scene of The Rise of Skywalkerit is revealed that Rey Skywalker built her own lightsaber using parts of her old staff when she was a scavenger on Jakku. Complete with its signature yellow-colored blade, the blade also features some unique leather components as well as a unique emitter.

Darth Vader’s lightsaber

First appeared: A New Hope

Darth Vader’s red-bladed lightsaber is one of the most iconic SIth lightsabers in the entire world. Star Wars canon. As such, it’s only fitting that the saber is available for purchase both in the parks and online with a blade included. The bubble strip next to the activation button indicates that it was modeled after its appearance in the A New Hope.

Temple Guard Lightsaber

First appeared: The Clone Wars

While the Jedi Temple Guard lightsaber could be purchased in Galaxy’s Edge as a single blade before its retirement, there was also a limited edition version for $375.00 with components unique to a double-bladed version. This included the Temple Guards’ unique hinge, which allowed the two sabers to be folded side by side.

Mace Windu lightsaber

First appeared: Attack of the Clones

There are very few Star Wars characters who wield purple-bladed lightsabers, and none are better known than Jedi Master Mace Windu, who led the Jedi Council during the previous films. His iconic lightsaber can be purchased online with a blade included, although the hilt is also available from Dok-Ondar’s.

Ben Solo’s Lightsaber

First appeared: The Last Jedi

Although it has since been retired, Ben Solo’s original Jedi lightsaber from when he was still Luke’s apprentice was an interesting addition to Disney’s Legacy Lightsaber line. It was also confirmed that this was the same fist that Solo would later modify after becoming Kylo Ren, adding exhaust vents necessary to maintain the stability of his red kyber crystal that had been shattered.

Kylo Ren Crossguard Lightsaber

First appeared: The Force Awakens

Kylo Ren’s iconic crossguard lightsaber is still available for purchase, both online and at Dok-Ondar’s. A 36″ blade is also included with the handle when purchased online, although the handle comes with the cross guard piece in either option.

Count Dooku Sith Lightsaber

First appeared: Attack of the Clones

The curved lightsaber wielded by Count Dooku is one of the most unique Sith lightsabers seen in the prequel trilogy and The Clone Wars. Available from Dok-Ondar’s, Dooku’s lightsaber was inspired by the sword of Charlemagne, from whom Christopher Lee (who played Dooku) was a direct descendant.

Jedi Dooku lightsaber

First appeared: Tales of the Jedi

Dooku’s original blue lightsaber was also made by Disney. First seen in Tales of the Jedithis blade was wielded when Dooku was still a Jedi Master with Qui-Gon Jinn as his apprentice, as well as when he officially turned to the dark side after betraying Jedi Master Yaddle.

Leia Organa Lightsaber

First appeared: The Rise of Skywalker

Leia Organa’s lightsaber was first introduced in The Rise of Skywalker where it was given to Rey during the Battle of Exegol, allowing the iconic Skywalker saber to be wielded by a redeemed Ben Solo. Leia’s lightsaber, from her brief period of training with Luke, was then buried along with Skywalker’s saber in the deserts of Tatooine.

Shadow Saber Light Saber

First appeared: The Clone Wars

The legendary Darksaber has an ancient Star Wars story with many different holders such as Pre Vizsla, Darth Maul, Sabine Wren, Bo-Katan Kryze, Din Djarin, and Moff Gideon throughout the events of the Skywalker saga. Featuring a unique blade unlike any other lightsaber, both the blade and hilt are available online and in the parks.

Starcruiser training lightsaber

First appeared: Disneyworld’s Galactic Starcruiser

Created especially for Disneyworld’s Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience, which has since closed due to poor sales, the Starcruiser training saber looks exactly like the one used in the hotel training experience. The training saber also comes with enchantments unique to the Star Wars alphabet known as Aurebesh.

Luminara Unduli lightsaber

First appeared: Attack of the Clones

Luminara Unduli was a member of the Jedi Council whose lightsaber first appeared during Attack of the Clones‘ Battle of Geonosis. Featuring a green blade, Luminara’s lightsaber also comes with a uniquely white display case.

Plo Koon’s lightsaber

First appeared: Attack of the Clones

Plo Koon’s lightsaber is almost identical to Luminara’s, except for some alternate colors, such as the blue lines around the emitter. Plo Koon was also a member of the Jedi Council whose lightsaber first appeared during the Battle of Geonosis.

Darth Maul double-bladed lightsaber

First appeared: The phantom menace

Darth Maul’s classic double-bladed lightsaber is also available in the parks. However, it’s important to note that each saber is sold separately (which means the full double-bladed version will cost over $300). That being said, each blade comes with the necessary adapter to connect the two.

Maul Shadow Collective Lightsaber

First appeared: The Clone Wars

The parks also have Maul’s Shadow Collective lightsaber, which can also be joined to the more classic saber. This will allow Star Wars collectors will have Maul’s double-bladed lightsaber as it appeared in the final season of The Clone Warscomplete with the red kyber crystal that is visible when lit through the grill component. It also looks great on its own as a single-bladed saber.

Asajj Ventress lightsaber

First appeared: The Clone Wars

Although it has since been retired, Asajj Ventress’s original curved lightsabers as a Sith assassin are quite impressive. They could also be joined with an adapter, giving Star Wars collectors an impressive curved but double-bladed lightsaber, as seen in the Clone Wars animated series.
