Captain Sandy was empathetic to Aesha’s struggles, knowing that her job was unexpectedly tough.
While Aesha was the biggest name returned to Below deck Mediterranean For its current season, second baseman Elena Dubach has been part of the franchise in the past. Ali was struggling to follow Aesha’s instructions
Ali is not the best listener
throughout Below deck Mediterranean By season 9, it was clear that Eli was working toward a goal. Early in the season, she said she wanted to become a Chief Stave in her next few years of working in the yachting industry. While she has been part of the yachting industry for nearly a decade, Ali struggled to reach higher ranks During her time on Below Deck Med. With training from Aesha, she was hopeful that she would take the next step in her career.
unfortunately, Things have not been easy for Eli on the Mustique When it comes to getting your job done. While Aesha trusted Ali with the duties of a second-in-command, especially when it came to serving and bartending, she was often disorganized and struggled to keep her priorities in check. Although she knew there was a specificity in what she was doing, Ali found it difficult to follow Aesha’s instructions and was repeatedly told to shift her priorities to Mustique.
Aesha felt burned that she was understaffed
She doesn’t have enough support
Although Aesha has a staff of steves who are meant to help her keep things straight, it was obvious from the start of the charter season that there weren’t enough hands to go around. Aesha struggled throughout the charter season For several reasons, but mostly because of the level of understaffing that the interior team was aboard Mustique. Traditionally, the crew is meant to have a Chief Steve and three other Steves working on the interior team, but due to a cabin leak, there was only room for two Steves.
Aesha had to deal with the fact that she not only did not have the ability to manage things by herself, but the staffs she had to rely on could not work to her standards. Although Eli has slightly more capacity than Bree, both Steves struggled to hold it together and get their work done throughout the charter season. Instead of working well together, They’ve been fighting and keeping Aesha busy enough that she can’t take a real break.
Ali feels like Aesha is treating her poorly
She is not happy with the management
Ellie’s struggles on Mustique were interesting to keep track of because the majority of her problems revolved around Brie and their strange love triangle with deckhand Joe Bradley. Ali’s issues with Brie have been more professional than personalAlthough Bree has consistently dragged her personal feelings into their problems throughout the charter season. While Ali managed her own emotions well, she had a hard time with the way Aesha treated her during the more difficult moments of tension.
While she openly shared that she didn’t like the way Aesha allowed Brie to victimize herself and didn’t allow her to talk about her feelings, Ali empathized with Aesha’s position as the Chief Stu. Ali also noted that she feels that Aesha treated her badly as a manager at Mustique, and explains that she feels that she is not motivated to do her job. Feeling that Aesha is micromanaging her, Ellie doesn’t feel like she’s able to do as much as she normally can in her role Aboard Mustique.
Aesha can’t depend on Ali or Bree
She just did
While Ali and Brie struggled in their own mess, Aesha has taken on extra responsibility in order to keep Mustique running smoothly. As the chief stew, Esha should be able to depend on her second and third stews to make things easier on herself and get to a point where she can simply delegate tasks to Mustik. She still has responsibilities to take care of herself, but Aesha should be in a higher-level role.
While Aesha is supposed to trust her crew, the fact that she can’t rely on Ali and Brie has made things more difficult in her day-to-day life. Without staves capable of doing the job, Aesha had to spread herself far too thin, which made things difficult for her personally. While Ashe burned herself trying to keep the mucus flowingThe fact that she has only herself when it comes to her work is probably very difficult.
Will Aesha & Elli Feud Before The Charter Season Ends?
The Steves were both getting annoyed
Although Aesha seems to have issues with Ali and Brie, Ali was more of a problem for her considering her rank as Second Stu And the fact that she has been pushing for more responsibility. The below deck Mediterranean Stew was borderline insubordinate to Aesha, struggled to keep her priorities straight, and took a victim mentality in some of her personal issues on the superyacht. While Ali has merit to her work, things may come to a head with Aesha in the upcoming episodes.
Aesha seems to be at the end of her rope with the staves she has, and with a new stave joining Below deck Mediterranean, Things may shift for you. With a little more clarity, Aesha could understand that Ali is good to have around but needs more training. This can fly for these Below deck Mediterranean Stew, as well, leaving you high and dry before the end of the charter period.
