Sometimes, it can be difficult to predict what each category is going for in certain Connections Puzzles. There are so many different options and many times words have meanings that we don’t expect. If you’re still unsure about your journey today, we’ve got everything you need to put the clues together and finish the puzzle without delay.
If you’re looking for a different type of puzzle with no words, you might want to try the NYT Tiles Puzzle, which gives you a fun way to spend some time to decompress By matching tiles in a fun game of Go-Fish. Well, it’s not quite like Go-Fish, but you have to match the tiles in the same way, and if you get it wrong, your streak ends and you won’t get a higher score. It has a similar vibe, and it can be quite relaxing.

Monkey bars |

Swings |
Theater totter |
This was a bit tricky, just because Tetherball is often playground equipment And I, in fact, one on the playground I spent most of my childhood years. This makes it difficult to realize that it does not belong here, and it took too many attempts to separate it from the rest of the words.
This is difficult because it takes away your wiggle room to get it right, and you should look at each word instead of assuming that one fits somewhere more than others.

Pendulum |
Tea bag |
Tetherball |
Yeah-yeah |
Instead, TETHERBALL actually belongs in this category with All things that hang at the end of a string. Personally, I think pendulums are more often than not metal, but I’ll take it. What really stumped me in this category is the tea bag, because it doesn’t really have the back and forth movement the others all do. I was fairly convinced that TEETER-TOTTER belonged to the rest of the words and tea bag did not.

desert |
Humor |
MARTINI |
TEETOTALER |
The fact that two of these have a relationship with alcohol can be a source of confusion, but luckily them actually being in the same category should stop some of the confusion. However, connecting humor and desert to the other two as “things that are dry” Can be a harder line of thought to follow. The words in the next category are also a little difficult to piece together, but if you can manage to do it first, it may be best saved for last.
Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained
baby ___ |

---|---|---|---|
Blues |
Boomer |
steps |
teeth |
This one can be difficult to piece together, but it feels a little more straightforward than the previous category. Maybe because blues, steps and teeth Can all be related to babies Without the word for him.
This may make it easier to merge the three, but it can be difficult to figure out that BOOMER is in the same category. I think it’s a little easier because of the amount of generational talk that often gets thrown around.
