Cinnamon is one of Dragon Ballone of the most mysterious characters, despite having received a fair amount of screen time since his initial introduction to the story. Dragon Ball Daimahowever, it promised to shed more light on the Supreme Kai’s many mysterious qualities by casting him in an important role, highlighted by his unexpected role as Goku’s partner during his adventure in the Demon Realm.
Dragon Ball Daima it seems extremely willing to interfere with the series’ traditionalready rewriting the history of the Namekians and trying to explain the Potara plot hole in the franchise. Given Shin’s already underdeveloped character, it was almost certain that the series would explore lesser-known aspects of the once-feared Supreme Kai. And if recent episodes are anything to go by, it seems Daima does not intend to stop at just a name change.
Dragon Ball Daima reveals Shin’s real name
The mysterious Kai’s real name is Nahare
In Dragon Ball Daima episode #7, titled “Collar”, it was revealed that Kai has a birth name previously unknown to the rest of the cast: Nahare. From the moment Shin entered Dragon Ballthe story, he was surrounded by an air of mystery. Prepared to fight Piccolo during the World Tournament that has begun Dragon Ball ZIn the Majin Buu Saga, the powerful Namekian refused to fight after understanding that a higher god stood before him, before Shin revealed his true identity. Unfortunately, however, after the Supreme Kai character was built in that series, he was largely kept out of the fight and ultimately given the role of a supporting character.
Already, Dragon Ball Daima is intended to do more with Shin’s character than any other series Kai has ever been in. Establishing him as a member of a demonic race called Glind, which originated from the Second Demonic World, Shin reveals to Panzy that his real name is Nahare in Daimalast episode of. The name change comes out of nowhere, and although Goku takes a chance on calling Shin by his real name, he decides to continue using the name he already knows. Given Dragon BallAfter the long and established story, one assumes fans will do the same.
Shin’s real name isn’t the only revelation about his character
Daima is revealing many unknown qualities about Shin
While having a different name is certainly an unexpected development for Shin, is not the only one who Daima incorporated into its history so far. Glind’s revelation in previous episodes was completely new for the character, and the series even took the time to explain how he and other Glind were born, as well as mentioning his home planet. Every few centuries, characters who become Kais are born from one of the five Glind Trees located in the Second Demon World, and those who are born from the same tree are brothers.
Origins aside, Dragon Ball Daima also awarded Shin the rare opportunity to fight in the seventh episode of the serieswhile he, Goku and Glorio must fight the evil King Gomah’s henchmen. Despite how scared Piccolo was when he faced him during Dragon Ball Zthe Supreme Kai’s combat abilities were largely left to viewers’ imaginations. Dragon Ball DaimaKai Nahare’s grand adventure has only just begun, however, and fans will likely learn even more about Supreme Kai Nahare in future episodes.
