The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

New cooking mechanics in the latest version The Legend of Zelda entrance, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomdemands Zelda to mingle smoothie. By mixing different ingredients, the resulting smoothies can restore hearts, provide beneficial effects, or both. However, mixing the wrong ingredients will result in a Failed Smoothie, which is the game’s version of Dubious Food.

While not all smoothies are the same, and some are much better than others, some quests will require you to make at least 30 different smoothies. The ingredients can be found in Hyrule from monster drops, quest rewardsand even bought in stores. Here are the recipes for all the smoothies (and potions) in Echo of Wisdom.

Basic smoothies

Smoothie with regular ingredients

Basic smoothies are smoothies made from common ingredients that only give recovery buffs. These ingredients will provide healing or energy restoration, but no additional effects. Other ingredients provide specific buffs for damage mitigation, utility, and traversal. All of these ingredients can be easily found or purchased at certain stores.

Some of these basic smoothies, like the Salty Milk Smoothie, are still considered some of the best smoothies even in the later stages of the game because of how effective they are at healing and restoring. Austin John plays contains further explanation of which smoothies work best at different stages of the game, as well as a helpful table of all the combinations.

Alternatively you can use one of Riverhorse smoothies to increase your swimming speed. This way you will spend less time underwater overall.

Roctatos give you a climbing speed boost to help get over steep rocks and walls, e.g. Eldin Volcano Trail region. However, using Echoes like Crawltula instead is already quite fast. You may not need to use a climbing smoothie very often.

The value of these smoothies lies in their health restoration. Although the duration of the effect is a maximum of five minutes, there are also potions which can be created using Monster Partswhich are much easier to find. If you want to use Golden Smoothies, Golden strong smoothie is the best option because it provides Damage Reduction. This makes it an ideal smoothie to use when… emergency during a difficult battle.

Luckily, monster parts can be collected by repeatedly defeating the enemies that drop them. They are more abundant than golden eggs, so most of the buffs you need will come from potions rather than smoothies.

Be mindful of the monster’s part type! Like Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom uses different parts, in particular Monstrous guts and monstrous fangs. Potion recipes require the correct use of Guts or Fangs, otherwise you will get Bad smoothie. Be sure to blend as much smoothie as possible as Recipes please! quest You need to prepare a total of 30 unique recipes.
