Below Deck season 3 will return to Bravo in the new year, and a preview of the season revealed a potential new addition to the show, proving that producers may finally be listening to viewers. While Below Deck Season 3 may look a little different for viewers expecting Chief Stew Aesha Scott to be an important part of Captain Jason Chambers’ crew, the season still looks like it will be exciting. Many have struggled to visualize what the show will be like after a difficult previous season, will it return soon.
As Bravo’s Below Deck prepares to make its exciting return, a preview of the series has already proven that Below Deck producers may be taking viewers more seriously this season. After the scandal of Below Deck Season 2, Captain Jason already shared that things would change for the crew of his Below Deck letter, but it seems that Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph will gain support next season. Appearing to have a sous chef working with her in the preview, many were excited to see a fan suggestion appearing on the show.
What Chef Tzarina Potentially Having a Sous Chef Means for Below Deck
The show is taking viewer feedback seriously
While many have struggled with the idea of Below Deck Season 3 without Aesha aboard the superyacht, it’s clear from the preview that the season will be exciting. While Chef Tzarina may not be the focal point of the preview, seeing her work with a potential sous chef is great for viewers who have been asking for more support from the chef for a long time. Below Deck superyachts tend to have chefs performing a much higher level of work than those they are equipped for alone, but are criticized when they can’t handle everything.
Below Deck fans have been vocal about the fact that superyacht chefs need more support for years, and seeing this Chef Tzarina may finally be getting that support Below Deck the third season is a huge step forward in the right direction. While Below Deck Season 2 was difficult for a number of reasons, one of the biggest issues throughout the season was the team struggling without support following Luke Jones’ sexual misconduct. With Below Deck Season 3 prioritizing the team more, seeing the support for the chef makes it clear that things will be different.
Our Take Below Deck Listening to Fan Feedback
Things could genuinely change for the franchise
Although there is still much to be seen Below Deck Season 3, and lots of it Below Deck needs to be approached as a franchise, knowing that the show is making fan-suggested changes is a great first step. Taking chef welfare seriously and providing support will be great for crew morale and charter performance. In addition to the personal benefits, allowing Below Deck team working well under pressure, at least when it comes to food service, will be great after last season’s problems.
