Mad Cave Studios and King Features Syndicate are partnering for a new Flash Gordon comic universe. These series will continue the adventures of Flash Gordon, with a modern and non-traditional storyline that promises to maintain the integrity of the iconic hero.

Mad Cave Studios has been publishing a Flash Gordon series since the beginning of this year. The fifth issue is scheduled to be released in December and the sixth in February, with a new arc starting soon. Upcoming offerings, in partnership with King Features Syndicate, include Flash Gordon: Infinity Girl, Flash Gordon: Quarterly #2: The Heart of Arboria, and Adventures of Flash Gordon. Adventures of Flash Gordon It will be a comic book. The girl from infinity will have a preview included in the Free Comic Book Day 2025 offers.

Mad Cave and King Features Unite for New Takes on the Iconic Hero

Flash Gordon: Infinity Girl features the creative team of Marguerite Bennet and Bev Johnson. Adventures of Flash Gordon is an all-ages series from Papercutz and Mad Cave Studios, with the creative team of Art Baltazar and Franco Aurelani. This traditional version of the titular hero teams up with Dale Arden and Dr. Zarkov to face Ming the Merciless on the planet Lexray. Flash Gordon Quarterly #2: The Heart of Arboria features several stories, including a single and two new reports. The creative teams on this project include Rich Douek, Dan Didio and Marc Andreyko.

Flash Gordon: Infinity Girl is a beautiful reimagining of Flash Gordon, written by NYT bestseller Marguerite Bennett and illustrated by Bev Johnson. Fans can follow along as traveler Dale Arden discovers a falling star – containing a girl named Flash Gordon, Savior of the Universe! But Flash doesn’t remember who she is, and together she and Dale must uncover her past, save Dale’s family, and rescue the alien planet Omnia from the clutches of the cruel Emperor Azimuth!

Flash Gordon, which debuted in 1934, has become a pillar of American storytelling, across multiple mediums. Several comic book publishers have featured twists on the hero, including Marvel Comics, Charlton Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite, and Dark Horse Comics. Mad Cave Studios has had some impressive adventures lately, providing the latest chapter in Flash Gordon’s legacy. Now, a genre story will place the character in an unexplored world, leading to a truly new and unique twist that looks promising so far.
