Vin Diesel posts BTS looks at the set of Fast & Furious 11, previewing practical car stunts and Letty’s return

Fast X: Part 2
gets a new tease from Vin Diesel, who shares behind-the-scenes looks at the film’s practical stunts and the return of Michelle Rodriguez as Letty. After first appearing in the franchise’s 2001 debut, Diesel returned as Dominic Toretto last year in Louis Leterrier’s film. Fast X. Fast X: Part 2 It’s now confirmed, and could potentially bring the long-running franchise to an end, with Diesel revealing on Instagram last week that filming on the sequel is already underway.

Diesel now shares two new behind-the-scenes looks Fast X: Part 2teasing the kind of practical car stunts audiences can expect and Letty getting back behind the wheel. The first post is a short video that captures crew members and Leterrier standing next to a camera mounted on a car before filming, then pans to capture a muscle car skidding to a stop on a city street. Diesel’s caption also confirms that the next edition is targeting a 2026 release. Check it out below:

For team members to come and share their stories of when they first worked on Fast. Oh, the joy of seeing practical photos on the streets,” Diesel writes in his caption. “As we race to reach our 25th anniversary release, I remind myself to always enjoy the journey. Humbled and grateful.”

Diesel’s second post highlights Rodriguez’s return as Letty, a key character in the franchise since the first episode. The image shows Rodriguez behind the wheel of a Honda with Diesel talking to her through the driver’s window. Check out Diesel’s second post below:

Today was a good day…” Diesel writes in his caption. “Dom, Letty and JDM“.

What Diesel’s Posts Mean for Fast & Furious 11

Fast X ends Letty’s story with a question mark

Michelle Rodriguez as Letty in Fast X

After the ridiculous F9: The Quick Saga (2021), Fast was presented as a kind of return to the more grounded action of previous Fast and Furious films. This was only partially true, and the film featured a mix of practical driving and bizarre, CGI-heavy stunts, like Dom driving his car over the edge of a dam. Diesel’s latest post, however, could be a sign that Fast X: Part 2 will really prioritize the practical action of the carand this can help the film resonate with audiences.

As for Letty’s return, Diesel’s post seemingly confirms that she will eventually reunite with Dom in the upcoming film. THE Fast The finale finds Letty and Cipher (Charlize Theron) escaping a black site in Antarctica before connecting with Gal Gadot’s Gisele Yashar, who was previously thought to be dead. Fast X: Part 2 will definitely be filming sequences out of order, but it’s clear that Letty, at some point, will be back in the US

Our opinion on Diesel’s Fast X: Part 2 BTS Posts

More grounded action would be good for the franchise

Fast Reviews were mixed, and if the upcoming sequel serves as the final installment, it would be great to see a return to the practical action of the previous films. Returning to a grittier, less CGI-dependent approach to automotive action could make the franchise stand out. after the last films failed to dazzle in the same way, something like Five quick (2011) did.

If Fast X: Part 2 will be the end of the road, Letty will certainly play a big role in the narrative, and that’s fitting given her history with the franchise. After being separated from the nucleus Fast and Furious cast for much of the previous edition, it will also be a positive change to see her reunited with Dom and hopefully other important characters. Many doubts still remain about Fast X: Part 2but it is clear that solid progress is now being made.
