Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Predator vs Black Panther #4 and Aliens vs Avengers #2! Both ForeignerXenomorphs and PredatorThe Yautja invaded Wonderand they’re quickly proving to Marvel’s biggest heroes just how deadly they are in their respective crossover stories. But no matter how many superheroes these sci-fi monsters kill, the Xenomorphs and the Predators are still each other’s ultimate cosmic rivals. And now, the stage is set for Alien vs Predator to make the Marvel Universe its bloody new battleground.
In Predator vs Black Panther #4 by Benjamin Percy, Chris Allen, Sean Damien Hill, and Lee Ferguson, readers receive the epic conclusion to this four-part crossover miniseries. The story begins with a cybernetic Predator less physically capable than his brother. Both are in line to inherit the title of Predator King from their father, and it’s obvious which one will get it. So, to take the crown for himself, this Predator travels to Earth to claim the one thing that would make him and his clan unbeatable: godmetal, also known as vibranium.
Black Panther defends his vibranium and his kingdom from the Predator’s invasion, but that doesn’t stop the Yautja from loading mountains of vibranium into their ship and blasting off into space. However, Shuri plants a Predator nuclear bomb on the outside of the ship before it breaks the atmosphere, and once in space, the entire ship explodes. The divine metal that the Predators collected is floating in space near Earth.
The Predator, would-be usurper, fails and dies before he can use the vibranium to take his father’s kingdom. But, his loss is the King’s gain, as the Predator King quickly approaches and takes all the vibranium for himself. Now, the Yautja species has enough god metal to craft weapons, ships, and other war assets from pure vibranium, making the Predators far more deadly than ever before.
Marvel shows predators at the height of their power, just like Alien’s xenomorphs
The Xenomorphs have just conquered planet Earth in Aliens vs Avengers
While Black Panther defeated the Predator clan that invaded Wakanda, the ending of Predator vs Black Panther makes it clear that the Yautja were the true winners in the end. The Predators are now at the height of their power, as they now have all the vibranium they could want. Interestingly, the same is true for ForeignerMarvel’s Xenomorphs in their Marvel crossover miniseries: Aliens vs Avengers.
In Aliens vs Avengers by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić, the synthetic David (and two duplicates) travel through the multiverse from the Alien Universe to the Marvel Universe, and do so with countless hordes of Xenomorphs. The book explains that David didn’t stop eradicating planets with the Black Goo after the events of Alien: Allianceand he quickly perfected the science of bioengineering with the Black Goo to create as many Xenomorphs as he could desire – enough to extinguish all organic life in the Alien Universe.
Thus, David and his duplicates travel to the Marvel Universe after discovering multiversal travel, as they intend to use the Xenomorphs to eradicate all organic life in all universes. This is what pitted the Avengers against the Xenomorphs, and in Aliens vs Avengers #2, it is revealed that the Xenomorphs won. What remained of the Avengers left Earth defeated, losing the planet to the overwhelming horde of Xenomorphs. Maybe the Avengers will find another planet to call their own. Maybe not. All fans know is that Earth is now owned by billions of Xenomorphs, and the entire Marvel Universe isn’t far behind.
How Marvel Comics Just Created the Perfect Alien vs Predator Story
Vibranium-powered predators versus avenger-killing xenomorphs is a story that needs to be told
As it stands, the Predators have gotten an unprecedented upgrade with their new supply of vibranium, and the Xenomorphs have killed everyone Avengers hero, and those they didn’t kill, literally scared the planet. While these two circumstances are happening in separate comic book series, there’s no reason to assume they aren’t happening in the same continuity. Perhaps the events of Predator vs. Black Panther took place in the past of Aliens vs. Avengers, and while the Xenomorphs dominated Earth, the Predators were waiting with their arsenal of vibranium, choosing the perfect moment to strike.
There would be no truer test of the Predators’ new vibranium-powered weapons than facing an entire planet of Xenomorphs.
It is well established in Alien vs Predator knows that the Predators have a certain reverence for the Xenomorph species. In fact, the Xenomorph is an integral part of the Yautja ceremonial rite of passage called the Blood Ritual, which dictates that a juvenile Predator (or group of Predators) must hunt and kill Xenomorphs and mark themselves with their clan’s symbol with blood. creature’s acid. This is how a Predator becomes a true hunter, gaining autonomy to travel through different worlds and hunt increasingly dangerous prey (like what is shown on the ground Predator films).
There would be no truer test of the Predators’ new vibranium-powered weapons than facing an entire planet of Xenomorphs. Under normal circumstances, it’s fair to assume that Xenomorphs would easily outnumber Predators (after all, there are billions of them). However, after integrating vibranium into all of their technology and weaponry over the course of a few decades, the Predators may actually be able to defeat the billions of Xenomorphs. Either way, it’s a story that needs to be told, and Marvel has already set the stage perfectly.
The Avengers have become the least interesting part of their alien-predator crossovers
Marvel prepared the perfect Alien vs Predator History and does not include the Avengers
What’s funny about how perfectly Marvel Comics created the best Alien vs Predator history it’s how the publisher unintentionally made the Avengers (and the rest of the heroes) the least interesting part of them Alien/Predator intersections. It’s as if the Xenomorphs and the Predators only have to pass by Marvel characters before finding their way back to each other and subsequently becoming each other’s ultimate enemy. After all, they’re cosmic rivals, so it makes sense, but it’s still hilarious to consider that the Avengers have effectively been overshadowed in their own universe.
While the stage is set and the setup is perfect, there is no guarantee that Marvel Comics will combine the stories of Aliens vs Avengers and Predator vs Black Panther to create this ending Alien vs Predator history. But, if the publisher decides, it is something that would certainly surprise Foreigner against Predator fans everywhere as these two deadly alien species just transformed Wonder on your perfect, bloody battlefield.
