Aubrey Plaza still did not see The White Lotus season 2 despite her starring role in it. The critically acclaimed HBO anthology series debuted its second season in October 2022 to critical acclaim and skyrocketing viewership. The White LotusThe expansive cast saw Plaza star as Harper, the wife of Ethan Spiller (Will Sharpe). The couple vacations with friends Daphne (Meghann Fahey) and Cameron Sullivan (Theo James), with the two couples having a strained relationship that results in extramarital activities, dreamy Rogers and shifting dynamics. Plaza earned acclaim for her performance as the icy Harper, whose flirtations with Cameron begin to wear on Ethan.
It sounds like Plaza may have missed all the shenanigans, though. The actress told the Wall Street Journal That she hasn’t seen the episodes yet, but promised that she will someday. The reason? She can’t find the password to her HBO Max account at this time. Plaza then says that she would have already watched it if HBO had provided a DVD before lamenting the fact that studios don’t actually ship those anymore. Watch the video below:

Season 2 of The White Lotus Was another acclaimed role for Plaza – Harper is initially apothecary and standoffish, only letting loose when her husband’s friend Cameron begins to pull her out of her shell. It’s a dynamic performance that, like the show, blends dry humor with cool glamor that results in Harper and Ethan’s marriage facing its toughest challenge yet.
What’s next for the White Lotus?
Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2025
The White Lotus Season 3 is set to take place in Thailand. Little else is known about the plot beyond that, including what the central mystery of the season might be, but the cast of characters is as expansive as ever. Its stars include Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Natasha Rothwell, the latter of whom will return as Belinda after appearing in the first season.
With such a stacked cast and coming off its most popular season yet, the upcoming third entry is eagerly awaited, especially when you consider that The White Lotus Season 3’s Thailand location is sure to change the dynamic of the show yet again. Hawaii and Italy are different locales and Thailand will be the same, with the country’s rich history, beautiful landscape and complex culture ripe for exploration in the new season.
