The preview for The Flash #15 by Simon Spurrier, Vasco Georgiev, Matt Herms and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou begins with Wally West’s Flash patrolling Earth to find answers about a mysterious wave of anger among civilians. As he investigates the telepathic disturbance, his daughter Irey bothers him in the Justice League Watchtower until he finally spills the beans.
The Flash destroys his surroundings at superhuman speed in a burst of ragetransforming one of the Justice League’s most prominent heroes into an unparalleled destructive force on par with a Red Lantern – and to make matters worse, the Fastest Man Alive shows no signs of slowing down.
Flash’s rage upgrades his power to a destructive level
Wally West loses control of his powers when anger overtakes him
The telepathic signal that the Justice League tasked the Flash with investigating seems to be stirring up some anger, causing them to attack each other. Wally is similarly affected, as his frustration with Irey reaches boiling point. Once he succumbs to psychic interference, The Flash begins attacking the city and destroying everything in sight. The speed at which he throws himself at objects increases his impact as he channels his speed into surprising strength. The Flash’s evolving powers beyond speed make him a major threat to the DC Universe, especially when he is emotionally unstable.
Flash’s temper occasionally gets the better of him. In The Flash #5 by Spurrier and Mike Deodato Jr., Wally’s anger awakens his destructive potential when he believes his son was killed by the Stillness. Blinded by fury, Wally emerges with energy and declares that the Stillness will die. Fortunately, he manages to calm down after Jai reveals that he is alive. your child is shaken by the demonstration of power he asserts “would have destroyed the world.” When Flash loses control of his anger, there is no limit to the damage he can do.

Wally West’s pent-up rage fuels his transformation into an unstoppable force that moves at super speed and attacks with super strength, and within seconds he has demolished an entire street of vehicles. Red Tornado and Martian Manhunter prepare to remove him from the field to minimize the damage he inflicts, but before they can, Irey springs into action to deal with him herself. As she inherited her father’s speed as the superhero Thunderheart, Irey may be the only one capable of stabilizing the Flashunruly emotions before the enraged speedster wreaks havoc across the DC Universe.
