With the upcoming release of Complete pocket campinghowever, it has been announced that Leaf Tickets will not be available in Complete pocket campingmeaning that players will need to spend what they have left before the game ends.
Instead of, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp complete will introduce a new type of currency called Leaf Tokens, which will completely replace Leaf Tickets. Unlike Leaf tickets, players will not need to spend real-world money to acquire Leaf Tokens. Ultimately, this means that players don’t need to worry about the presence of any microtransactions, so the only real-world money they will need to spend is the initial purchase of Complete pocket camping.
What are Leaf tokens (and how do they work)
Same function as Leaf tickets, but for free
Leaf Tokens largely serve the exact same purpose that Leaf Tickets served in the original Pocket Camp. These tokens allow players to purchase exclusive items from the in-game store and speed up crafting times. They can be acquired by completing various objectives in the game called “Stretch Goals“, such as helping visitors like Gulliver with certain tasks.
Ultimately, this change to in-game currency will be a relief for many longtime players. By serving the exact same purpose as Leaf Tickets while eliminating the need for microtransactions, players will be more incentivized to purchase them to decorate their camp.
