Lots of incredible action movies Jason Statham turned him into one of the most popular modern action heroes in cinema, and he had many great films that still need sequels. While Statham has been part of his fair share of franchises, his filmography boasts countless slice-of-life films and heroic characters that audiences would love to see back on the big screen. Having proven his skills in hand-to-hand combat, intense car chases and death-defying stunts, Statham has a lot of characters to bring back for another movie.

Statham has been at the forefront of some of the biggest action films of all time and has shown that he can hold his own against heavy hitters like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. With a talent for playing tough British heroes, Statham offers something different in the realm of Hollywood action films. Although he is always ready to save the day, his characters often feel shackled to reality. He has so many incredible films to his credit, there are countless Statham sequels that audiences would love to see one day.

Spy It’s a fun crime comedy about espionage starring Melissa McCarthy as a 40-year-old lonely, desk-bound CIA analyst who breaks free from her boring day-to-day life to become a real spy. With the story of the recovery of a stolen portable nuclear device, writer-director Paul Feig got a lot of laughs with this hackneyed concept. showcased the rarely appreciated comedic talents of Jason Statham. As Rick Ford, Statham plays a grizzled CIA operative who believes himself to be above reproach but constantly makes mistakes.

One of the most impressive things about Spy this is how Statham used his action hero persona to maximum comedic effect, and it was a joy to watch him poke fun at himself in this way. Spy has a lot of potential for a sequel, and Feig even said in 2015 that he had started writing it (via Guardian.) While it hasn’t materialized yet, it would be incredible to see Statham reprise this uniquely hilarious character.

Homefront was an action film that had serious franchise-starting potential from Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone. However, this adaptation of Chuck Logan’s novel made a fatal mistake by basing it on the final installment of a long-running series that could have featured many more films starring Statham as retired DEA agent Phil Brocker. Although finality Homefront made a sequel unlikely from the start, the abundance of material from Logan means there’s a lot of potential to turn it into a series in the form of prequels.

Homefront’s the poor critical reception also meant that a follow-up film was unlikely, which was a real shame as it was a nice homage to classic action films of the past. Although the screenwriter Stallone and his star Statham continued to work together on The Expendables series, it would be nice to see them flesh out Broker’s world even more. There are currently plans to create Homefront sequel, but with a catalog of incredible action films, it would be great to revisit.

Beekeeper was a great franchise start for Jason Statham that could easily lead to many great sequels and spin-off films. Like Adam Clay Statham played a retired beekeeper. take down a criminal organization after his kind-hearted owner falls victim to a sinister phishing scam. This rousing event led to many stunning “The Beekeeper” scenes, in which Statham’s enemies were attacked by swarms of bees and even catapulted off a bridge.

Rich worldbuilding Beekeeper introduced the fascinating underworld of special operatives and, similar to John Wick the franchise has hinted at a rich mythology that needs to be explored in future installments. As a serious action hero, Adam Clay has the potential to become a major figure in the world of action films if subsequent films can maintain the fun energy of the original. Although the continuation Beekeeper hasn’t been officially announced, its runaway success and $152 million at the global box office (via Box Office Mojo) means a second film is all but inevitable.

Jason Statham has certainly left his mark on history Fast and Furious franchise with his role as former British special forces and MI6 mercenary Deckard Shaw. Being the main villain Fast and Furious 7Shaw appeared in many subsequent sequels and became so popular that he starred in a spin-off film alongside Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs. Although a direct sequel starring Statham and Johnson was discussed, these plans were later shelved as Johnson hinted at another spin-off film titled Hobbs and Reyes starring Johnson and Jason Momoa (via MovieWeb.) However, Statham’s performance as Shaw played a central role in the film’s success. Hobbs and Shawand it’s important that he reprise his role in any potential sequel. A fan favorite character, Shaw is an important part Fast and Furious franchise, and it would be great if he stayed after the main series ended.
