That Pokémon Trading Card Game fan decided they had enough with card scalpers and sent them on a wild goose chase for cards they won’t soon forget. Right Pokémon The cards are worth a lot of money, and while most fans enjoy opening packs and getting their hands on a coveted card, others prefer to take an easier route.
Editor strawberry and kiwi decided that those who wanted to save money and scalp highly coveted and expensive cards had their karma coming. They messaged several scalpers and asked them to “meet halfway” to obtain the card in question. Little did these collectors know that they would go on the trip of a lifetime, without actually finding anyone who had these cards and causing a bit of chaos in the community.
Sending scalpers on a wild Pokémon Goose chase
Karmic chaos appears to be collectors’ solution to scalping
According to the Reddit post, several different methods were used to create nothing short of pure chaos among the Pokémon card scalping community. First, the Redditor claims they will be drawing them all to the same meeting place, about 20 to 30 miles away from the starting point. From then on, some collectors got stuck in traffic, and one of them even canceled his lunch plans to “make a big purchase.”
Two of the edits to the state of astrawberryandakiwi’s Reddit thread, “Edit #4: Two scalpers are meeting at the same location. Issue #5: They met each other LOL. One of the scalpers still thinks I’m the guy he met with and that I mistook him for a buyer. I told him I I think he’s cute.” The Redditor isn’t just sending these scalpers to random locations to get cards that don’t actually existbut now they met without even realizing it.
Our take: It’s the simple things in life that make others smile
Even though this may not be the best course of action
While this may not have been the best action to take against scalpers, it is extremely funny. A commentator, chick it says, “but you should still take a photo of the scalpers’ meeting from afar and post it here.” The original poster mentions that they don’t live in the same state as the scalpers, but they may do so in the future if time permits.
By sending scalpers on a futile search for a Pokémon Trading Card Game card may seem a little cruel or rude to make, it seems most of the comments agree with the poster’s frustrations with those trying to get expensive cards without working for themselves. Hopefully, whether the original poster actually does it again with those closest to them and the film’s reactions or not, this post can raise a few smiles for those who have been wronged by scalpers in the past or are fed up of them not following the good old letter routine.
