Kraven the HunterBox office predictions are on track to break the Marvel film record for Sony’s Spider-Man universe. JC Chandor’s next film Kraven the Hunter is the first R-rated film in Sony’s Spider-Man universe and will introduce at least three new Spider-Man villains to the franchise: the titular Kraven, Rhino, and Kraven’s brother Chameleon. Kraven the Hunter will be released just two months later Venom: The Last Dancewhich is behind the previous two from Sony Poison films at the box office.

Put BoxOfficePro, Kraven the Hunter is projected to earn $20-25 million domestically during its first three days in theaters. This value is considerably lower than the Morbius‘ $39 million domestic opening weekend. It could also combine Lady Teiathe abysmal initial earnings of US$25.8 million in six days.
