10 Best Isekai Anime Fights That Will Get Every Fan Hyped

Isekai animes have more freedom than their non-isekai counterparts. By taking their main characters from the real world and placing them in a fantasy world, the best isekai anime series can work by their own rules. That means protagonists can live in worlds with magic, giving them abilities their previous worlds could never have. Characters like Tanya Van Degurechaff of The saga of Tanya Hare were normal people in their past lives. In their new lives, however, they are powerful characters capable of devastating powers.

Isekai protagonists are usually given a special power when they enter their new worlds, making their fights even more exciting. No matter what ability is displayed, a good isekai fight can rival the best fights in anime. They can also set the tone for the show very much in, letting everyone know just how intense things can get.

That time I got reincarnated as a slime Features one of the deepest and richest worlds in isekai anime. The world that Rimuru Tempest found itself in is complicated, to say the least. In Rimuru’s world, there is a power hierarchy led by the Demon Lords at the top. Two of the strongest beings in the world, Mil Nava the Destroyer and Carrion the Beastmaster, have a fight that shakes the power structure to its core.

Mil Nava is the strongest woman in That time I got reincarnated as a slime And might just be the strongest character out there. As the daughter of Veldanava, the world’s creator, she has access to True Dragon Magic Carrion can only dream of. While Carrion transforms into his glorious royal beast form, he is no match for the dragonoid Mil. Rimuru vs. The Kingdom of Falmouth – That time I got reincarnated as a slime

The most one-sided battle the slime has fought

Rimuru Tempest had never really been one for battle. He will fight to protect his friends, but that’s about it. When Shion is found dead, all bets are off. Rimuru finds the invading Falmuth warriors and casts one of the most one-sided spells in anime. Rimuru flies into the air high above the soldiers and throws Magidu. The magic works by creating small water droplets in the air which then reflect light beams. The light beams are then focused into laser beams and sent through the heads of Rimuru’s enemies.

This attack is incredibly effective because the attack itself does not use magicals, natural energy or anything other than sunlight itself to kill its opponents. Megiddo wiped Falmouth off the map before they could go into battle. Rimuru then used the souls of the people he had just killed to transform into a demon lord, gaining even more power for his enemies to fear.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is an anime known for its top-tier art and animation, rich world, and large cast of characters. It’s not a show known for its fights, which makes Rudeus, Eris and Rujierd vs. Orsted so much better. As Dead End is traveling back home, they come across the Dragon God himself. Rujierd and Eris are in complete awe of Orsted because of his innate ability, but Rudeus is not. Because he is not afraid like his companions, Orsted knows that he knows Hitogami, the human god and Orsted’s enemy.

Orsted rushes to the trio and takes on Rujierd first. Rujierd has been unstoppable up to this point in the series, but Orsted makes him look like a lover. After tossing aside the Superd like he’s nothing, Orsted kills Rudeus and tells him to let the Man God know he’s coming.

Shadow is the strongest man in all The Eminence in Shadow. He is so powerful that he is quite bored most of the time and is more than happy to fight anyone who can challenge him. He couldn’t have been happier when Aurora, the Witch of Calamity, was summoned to be his opponent in the Sanctuary. She is the main antagonist of the new world he escaped into and one of the few people who can keep up with Shadow.

Their fight is superb. They weave back and forth like a dance floor, each participant smiling from ear to ear. When the time comes to end the fight, Shadow remarks that he is glad to have faced Aurora but disappointed that he cannot fight her at full strength. He zooms through her blood magic before defeating her with a single sword slash. They both end the fight smiling.

Lloyd vs. Guisarme – I was reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I can take my time perfecting my magical abilities

Lloyd had to pull out all the stops

I was reincarnated as the 7th Prince Features great action sequences with complex but understandable spells. Lloyd loves learning new spells and is constantly looking for someone powerful enough to try them. While most characters in the series weren’t even strong enough to make Lloyd sweat, the Demon Lord Guisarme was. He took over Jade’s body to use Jade’s incredible teleportation technique and fought Lloyd effectively. While Guisarme certainly put up a good fight, Lloyd’s passion for magic was too much for him.

Related

Lloyd learned how to avoid Guisarme’s fatal Shadow Wolf ability just as he saw it. It’s ironic that Lloyd got bored after fighting Guisarme for a couple of minutes because the fight was anything but. Lloyd ends the showdown by using Guisarme’s strongest ability, the Mortal Dark Sphere, against him effortlessly.

Garfield vs. Elsa – Re:Zero – Starting life in another world

Garfiel joining Subaru’s side paid off

Re:Zero – Starting life in another world is another isekai anime not known for its fights. When it does fight, however, the stakes are high, the action is palpable, and someone is more than likely going to die. Elsa is one of the scariest characters in all Re: Zero. She is a sociopath at least, and takes a lot of pleasure in hurting other people. She was actually the first person to kill Subaru back in season one and hasn’t stopped her killing spree since.

She’s back to kill the main cast of characters, but this time, Garfiel is there to protect them. He does an excellent job of doing so, fighting the assassin in fierce combat before eventually killing her for good. His fight is brutal, bloody, and everything else that could come from a series as twisted as Re: Zero.

3

Shadow vs Beatrix and Iris – The Eminence in Shadow

Even two-on-one, Shadow didn’t break a sweat

Shadow’s fight against Beatrix and Iris isn’t much of a fight. Instead, Shadow entertained the two girls until he got bored, but it was entertainment rather than pain. The trio dance around town as Beatrix and Iris use everything they have against Shadow. Their sword skills weren’t bad, but there wasn’t anything about the leader of Shadow Garden. After fighting the pair for a little bit, Shadow is ready to end it. He puts the girls down, points a sword in the air, and creates the entire city in a dark purple light.

Related

The girls are petrified. They think that shadow will destroy their city. Instead, Shadow says he goes atomic and simply disappears. It’s a strange end to one of the best fights in the series and leaves Beatrix and Iris feeling stupid for thinking they even had a chance.

The perfect replication of an MMO action

Overlord Does a great job of showing how action in an MMO would look like in anime format. Ainz Ooal Gown is the leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the most powerful organization in the world. One of his strongest warriors, Shalltear Bloodfallen, has fallen under the control of outside influences and seeks to fight. Ainz finds her on the battlefield in full armor and gets ready for battle. Before he fights you, however, he casts dozens of buffs on himself like a true MMO player would.

While Ainz is one of the most powerful beings in Isekai history, he doesn’t want to kill Shaltear. He knows how valuable she is and realizes that she is probably under some sort of mind control at this point. After preparing all his buffs, Ainz uses his super-tier spell, Fallen Dawn, to level the battlefield and set the tone straight.

Makoto vs. Sophia and Lancer – Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy

Makoto let loose for the first time and the world felt it

Makoto Misumi got the short end of the stick when he escaped into his new world. God didn’t like him because she thought he was ugly and banished him to the wastelands of the continent. Luckily for Makoto, he was able to find amazing friends to support him when the Goddess didn’t. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only time Makoto suffered because of the Goddess. Later in the series, Lancer and Sophia ambush Makoto after he is transported by the Goddess against his will. Not only does the goddess land him in hot water, but Lancer and Sophia fight him because they think he’s fighting on you in name.

They are able to separate two of Makoto’s fingers, making the world traveler furious. He decides to let loose and breaks some of his Draupnir rings, filling himself with power. Makoto then flies into the air, launching an incredibly powerful arrow at his enemies. The arrow connects, severing one of Lancer’s legs and obliterating Sophia’s armor. This is one of Payback’s most refreshing moments Tsukimichi, Or any Isekai, has to offer.
