The Nightsisters have been an excellent addition to Star Wars
Although the Nightsisters were introduced in The Clone WarsThey reappeared in several Star Wars shows recently. In fact, the Nightsisters made the leap to live-action, mainly in AhsokaWhen it was revealed that a small group of night owls survived on Feride. Individual Nightsister stories are also told, including the return of Asajj Ventress Star Wars: The Bad Batch And with Morgan Elsbeth’s appearances in The Mandalorian, AhsokaAnd Star Wars: Tales of the Empire.
There was also a connection between the clans of Brandok in The acolyte And the Nightsisters of Dthumir, though, sadly, with The acolyte cancellation, which seems unlikely to be explored further. nevertheless, The Nightsisters most prominent role in Star Wars is evident, and it reveals an interesting trend in the franchise. Specifically, since the end of the Skywalker Saga with Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerThe franchise seems much more willing to explore stories outside of the Jedi and the Sith.

While neither the Jedi nor the Sith will truly be removed from Star WarsIt’s exciting to see other stories being told. This included the stories of everyday people, such as In AndrBut it also meant the introduction of non-Jedi (or Sith) Force users. The Mandalorian’s Grogu is an excellent example of this, but the Nightsisters are different even from him, as they do not represent a standalone Force-user but rather an entire group. The confirmation that the Force really is so much bigger than the Jedi and the Sith is truly thrilling.
The Nightsisters story is also almost certainly not over Star Wars. Probably, they will return in the upcoming Ahsoka season 2, and Asajj Ventress is confirmed to return in an unidentified future Star Wars project. For now, however, this gem Star Wars Concept film reinforces that both Ahsoka Tano And The Nightsisters still has so much potential in the franchise.
