Humiliated (2006–2007)
As Brittany Flune in 26 episodes

Teen Beach 2 (2015)
Like Mac
In the past, Disney Channel original films rarely received sequels. Movies like Halloweentown And School Musical helped change that. Now, many more Disney Channel properties are getting the opportunity to tell more stories with the same characters, as is the case with teen beach movie continuation.
It’s not as good as the original, but that’s not the actors’ fault. In this sequel, the characters from the film within the film are brought into the real world. Mac and Brady (Ross Lynch) must show their new friends how to live in the modern day, which is very different from the 1960s beach music life they are used to.
As in the first film, Mac helps her new girlfriends realize that they don’t just have to be someone’s love interests or backup singers, but can have lives of their own.

Maia Mitchell has starred in several thrillers along with family films throughout her career.. Hot summer nights one of the less successful of this group, but has a stellar cast alongside it.

His summer vacation gets complicated when he takes a job at a convenience store, where he hides drugs from the police for another teenager who comes by. They end up going into business together, working for the same dealer.
Daniel is simultaneously dating the daughter (Maia Mitchell) of a police officer on the trail and the younger sister (Maika Monroe) of his business partner, making his life even more complicated. Hot summer nights it doesn’t have the most satisfying endings for any of the characters involved, but it does demonstrate how easy it is for someone to get over someone’s head.

…compared to classic stories of female friendship such as Beaches And Steel magnolias…
Maia Mitchell doesn’t play a big role in Sitting at the bar with cakebut it adds a different type of film to her resume.. The film has been compared to classic stories of female friendship such as Beaches And steel magnolias because of its premise and two central characters.
The story revolves around Corinna (Odessa A’tzion), who is an extrovert and supports her much shyer friend Jane (Yara Shahidi). To encourage Jane to meet more people and introduce herself, Corinne suggests that Jane bake a new cake every week and they will share it every week at a new bar for the entire year. The idea is born when Jane brings home the birthday cake she baked for Corinne. Unfortunately for the duo, Corinne receives an unexpected and life-changing diagnosis that threatens to throw them for a loop.
The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and was received the award for Best Feature Film from The ReFrame Stamp, an organization that studies gender equality and rewards films that aim to increase the representation of women in the film industry.

Never Go Back (2018)
Like Angela …a modern comedy of errors…
Many of Mitchell’s best roles showcase her outstanding comedic abilities. Although this is most often seen in her family-oriented projects, Never come back is also a great showcase of her talent for comedy.
Never come back in the spirit of such classic comedies as Dazed and Confused. The film follows Angela (Mitchell) and Jesse (Camila Morrone), a pair of best friends who also work as waitresses and high school dropouts just looking for a good time. They want to take a vacation, but find that everything turns against them when their roommate spends their share of the rent money on a bad drug deal, their house is broken into, they are arrested for possession, and they are fired from their jobs.
It’s a modern comedy of errors for these two, and the actors really bring a keen sense of comedy to the film. It’s both a stoner comedy and a coming-of-age film about its teenage protagonists, and is undoubtedly one of Mitchell’s funniest works.
