What the critics said about Clash of the Titans
They weren’t taken by the movie
With 27% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the Clash of the Titans the remake fell well short of the original cult classic’s modest 63%. Even the public wasn’t too thrilled with the updated version, with the remake at 40% while the original has 70%. Arguably the biggest points of criticism were the remake’s focus on CGI over the original’s practical effects, the conversion to 3D in post-production, and the script. However, with the combined star power of avatar vet Worthington and Neeson, it will be interesting to see if the new streaming home results in an increase in Clash of the Titans’ popularity.
