Kraven the Hunter It was originally scheduled to be released in October 2023, but was delayed several times, resulting in a release date of December 13, 2024. Aside from the fallout from the SAG-AFTRA blows, the reasons for these major delays are unclear, although it’s likely that Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is gearing up for another box office success reminiscent of I. Distancing Kraven the Hunter as much as possible from fried Morbius And Madame Web and devoting as much time as possible to perfecting the final product can be the means by which a studio strives to achieve this goal.
In any case it will be Craven’s first ever cinematic outingand with Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the lead role, it looks promising. As Sony’s Spider-Man universe reveals, Kraven’s origins are clearly different from the comics, but that doesn’t necessarily spell doom for the film. Instead, the franchise could introduce its new fan-favorite anti-hero at the end of the 2024 holiday season.
