Sister Wives‘ Janelle Brown has a secret that she refuses to reveal to her ex Kody Brown. Janelle, who married Kody in 1993, was the patriarch’s second wife, although they eventually separated in 2022. In recent years, all but one of Kody’s wives have left him, including Christine Brown and Meri Brown. This left Robyn Brown as Kody’s only wife, after living in a plural marriage. In a recent episode of Sister Wives season 19, Kody admitted he wants to reconcile his relationship with Janellealthough it seemed like he only wanted to go that route to reunite with his children.

However, Janelle ended up finding a farm property in North Carolina instead of. “Are you serious?“Christine responds while smiling.
Janelle goes on to say that if they move to North Carolina, Caleb will be able to keep his job since it’s about an hour away. In a confessional, Christine says happily: “They found land. This is not, I found a house, we can resell it. This is Janelle finding ground.” Janelle told cameras that property in Montana was too expensive, so they looked elsewhere and found an affordable property not far from Maddie.
Christine wonders about existing properties. Kody claims he has the money left for the Coyote Pass; Payment is due in two months. Janelle seems unsure if Kody will be able to make it happen, but she hopes for the best. She tells Christine she wants Kody”buy me“, but he doesn’t have enough money for this. As a result, Janelle chose to keep the North Carolina estate a secret from her ex. “I don’t really feel like I need to share this with him. He won’t be part of this life“, Janelle divulges.

Based on this Sister Wives preview clip, Christine is really excited about the possibility of Janelle buying land in the future as she starts her life over after leaving Kody. As she said in her confessional, this will be an opportunity for Janelle to put down roots in a specific location that will be beneficial not only for her but also for her children.. The closeness with Maddie, along with Caleb being somewhat close at work, is something that is probably Janelle’s priority because she is still thinking about her loved ones through all of this.
As far as keeping the news from Kody goes, Janelle has every right to refrain from telling him anything that’s going on in her life right now. After all, they are exes now. Even though they are still linked to each other through their children and Coyote Pass, she owes him nothing when it comes to ensuring her own happiness.
