There’s tons of echo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdombut Platboom is one of the best thanks to how easily it allows you to travel across the game’s many rocks and cliffs. One of the most useful Echo to bypass: This yellow one-eyed platform lives in several places in the Gerudo Desert.and finding it can be a little difficult. If you often find yourself going to bed while climbing a high cliff, read on to learn about your new favorite Echo.
The Gerudo Desert is full of caves, treasures, and echoes to discover, and you’ll spend quite a bit of time there in the early parts of the game. Once you reach the sandy plain, talk to the Gerudo to learn more about the rifts that have appeared there, then head to Gerudo Town. On your way to closing the largest rift in the Gerudo Desert, you will encounter Platboom for the first time.
Where to find Platboom in The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
This echo is found in two caves, but the easiest one is north of Gerudo City
After speaking with Sira and Dona about a rift in the Gerudo Desert, you will be asked to prove your ability to close rifts before they will consider letting you into the Sanctuary. While you’re here climb the cliffs north of Gerudo City as Mon Facts shown in their YouTube video above. Once you reach the top, you will see a red staircase leading into the ground; this is the cave where you will find your Platboom.
You can also find Platboom inside the Silent Desert Temple Ruins, which is the first rift you enter in the desert. When you enter the Ruins, you should go right, then go through the tree and down the stairs to enter the cave. There will also be several Platbooms here, so choose one of two locations when you start your Platboom hunt.
Now all you have to do is defeat one. There are quite a few ways to do this, and whether you use Swordsman Form to cut him from the side or another of your best Battle Echoes, Platboom Echo will drop after you defeat your first one. Be careful not to get crushed, but you can also make Platboom fall and then use Three to hold it down while you or one of your Echoes defeats it. Platboom is just one of many excellent Echoes in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdombut, most likely, it will become your assistant in hard-to-reach places.
