A new one Super Mario Bros. Wonder Plushie is straddling the line between cute and creepy. The plush is created by official Mario Merchandise maker San-ei Boeki, who also made many other plushies and toys for the series. Despite making many toys for the franchise, this is only the second in the series Mario Wonder Line.
The talking flower plushie from Mario Wonder Will be released soon, according to a post on X From the company, spotted by Nintendo Life. In an effort to make the plush true to its game of, The talking flower toy will actually be able to talk.
When the pages are pressed, the plushie speaks a random line from the game from a set of 18 prerecorded lines. It is also bilingual and can switch between English and Japanese.
The talking flower is an odd choice for a Super Mario Bros. Wonder plushie
It veers in Uncomfortable Valley
the other Super Mario Bros. Wonder Plushie from San-ei is Mario’s elephant form, an iconic image from the game. The Talking Flower might be another staple of the title, but it’s not the most logical choice for a plush. The other elephant forms of the iconic Mario Series characters would make excellent plushies, like the cute Wonder Seed. Instead, fans can look forward to the slightly creepy plushie form of the talking flower from the game. The character is not a popular one and definitely not something that fans wanted to have as an actual real-world talking item.
Fans can hear the Japanese voice in a video shared by the toy company. To its credit, the toy sounds just like its video game equivalent. However, this means that the toy sounds like a middle-aged man. Among the lines it can say are “what are you doing“and”calm down” Which do nothing to make it look more cuddly. The toy measures only 14 cm (about 5.5 in) in height, and it is the perfect shape for squishing. It will launch along the Wonder Flower, which does not speak, is a little Larger at 18 cm (about 7 in), and is significantly more lovable.
