Mark my words, Spider-Man 4’s action scenes will be some of the best in the MCU

Now that Spider-Man 4 Has found a new director, I’m sure it will have some of the best action scenes in the entire MCU. It was recently announced that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton will direct Spider-Man 4Marking a big change for the Tom Holland-led series after Jon Watts directed the previous three installments. Spider-Man 4 is well under way, but not a ton is known about where Peter Parker’s next adventure might go.

Creton takes over for the next one Spider-Man Movie leaves me wondering what is going on with Shang-Chi 2But nevertheless makes me very excited about the future of Peter Parker after where his story left off at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. If Cretton could translate the fantastic action scenes into Shang-Chi in Spider-Man 4This may honestly be my favorite installment yet. Hopefully, we’ll start learning what Spider-Man will be squaring off against as soon as possible.

Spider-Man 4’s director update has me convinced that his action scenes will be top notch

personally, Shang-Chi Has my favorite action scenes in the entire MCU. It delivered on the martial arts promise of its characters, with the bus scene feeling like something that would be featured in a Jackie Chan film like Police Story. Leaning into the wuxia-inspired action throughout helped set the film apart from the typical MCU fare. Destin Daniel Cretton and the entire stunt team worked magic on Shang-ChiAnd it would be great to translate some of the stunt work to the upcoming fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man Series.

You should definitely watch these Police Story Series if you loved Shang-Chi S Action scenes, as well as films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon And Hero.

One of the reasons I’m so excited about Creton directing Spider-Man 4 is this I feel there haven’t been many standout action scenes with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. with Shang-Chi Under his belt, I’m sure the director can excel in bringing Spider-Man up a notch when it comes to the action department, and if it’s truly a street-level film, it could be something spectacular. The possibilities are endless and are a work in progress Shang-Chi Shows that Cretton is up to the challenge.

Tom Holland’s dedication to Spider-Man’s physicality will also enhance the MCU movie

Tom Holland as Peter Parker calls on a rooftop in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Tom Holland is a very athletic actor, which allows him to perform more of his own stunts than is usually the case for other actors. Add in the fact that he can spin around similar to Spider-Man and the character comes to life in ways that a CGI stand-in or stunt double sometimes can’t. Holland has shown dedication to the character over the years, and he deserves to be in another film that really shows what he’s capable of athletically. Destin Daniel Cretton Spider-Man 4 Could be the perfect vehicle for him to do that.

It would be nice to return to more grounded, tangible action scenes in a Spider-Man Movie with real actors and stunt performers doing the action.

The MCU so far has featured Spider-Man in a lot of massive, CGI-filled battle scenes, which can be nice, but it would be nice to return to more grounded, tangible action scenes in a Spider-Man Movie. Something reminiscent of Spider-Man’s final confrontation with Green Goblin in Raimi’s original Spider-Man FilmBut with the added polish of Shang-Chi S Hand-to-hand combat, could be the perfect direction for this new installment.

The MCU needs better action scenes and I’m sure Spider-Man 4 can deliver

The final battle against Thanos in the end game of the Avengers

Honestly, I think the MCU can sometimes struggle with action scenes throughout the franchise. Yes, they can be a lot of fun, but other times they are borderline incoherent with a lot of actual stunt work replaced by an over-reliance on VFX spectacle. That’s what films like Captain America: The Winter Solider Or Shang-Chi Stand out in terms of action choreography, because of the inherent practicality of a lot of their action scenes. Of course, there are a lot of VFX in these films too, but the feeling of real people doing stunts cannot be understated.

Spider-Man 4 had the opportunity to bring a little more grit to the action scenes in the Tom Holland-led franchisewhich has largely focused on massive spectacle over more intimate action scenes. His fights with Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home Highlight the importance of hand-to-hand combat in Spider-Man action scenes, adding an extra layer of tension to them. Add a few more flashes to the choreography as in Shang-ChiAnd Spider-Man 4 Can be something special with his action.

I am extremely excited about Destin Daniel Cretton’s direction Spider-Man 4After Jon Watts directed the first three movies in the series. A change of pace is much needed, and added the director of Shang-Chi The film opens to have some of the best action scenes the MCU has ever had. Sometimes the MCU can struggle in that department, but with Creton at the helm, I’m very confident Spider-Man 4 Can stand out when it comes to a lot of the action scenes in ways like some of Holland Spider-Man Films sometimes fail.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 4 is the first sequel to the MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland as the titular wall-crawler. After wiping his identity from public memory in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker continues his crime-fighting adventures without the help of Iron Man technology or the support of his former allies.
