Although Drizzt and his scimitars have been the central focus of most The Legend of DrizztThis epic series also spent time diving deep into Drizzt’s enemies, friends, and friends, creating a rich tapestry of interconnected stories. With so many novels, short stories, and comic books, it can be difficult to determine where each character’s story ends.
The powerful drow ranger Drizzt Do’Urden was introduced by RA Salvatore in The Icewind Dale trilogy in 1988, crossing paths with the crew he would come to know as the Companions of the Hall. Companions Guenhwyvar, Catti-brie, Wulfgar, and Bruenor Battlehammer would accompany Drizzt through thick and thin, often crossing paths with the grizzled assassin, Artemis Entreri . This cold-hearted enemy would soon turn into an ally, and so would the drow Jarlaxle, Entreri’s on-and-off business partner. Regardless, Salvatore created narrative loopholes to allow him to resurrect lost characters, ensuring that many major characters’ stories never ended.
