My Lady Jane star reacts to season 2 support from GOT author George RR Martin

My Lady Jane Star Edward Blumel responds to George RR Martin’s surprising endorsement of the canceled Prime Video series. The 2024 show recounts the life of the titular short-lived English monarch in a more fantastical reality amid the ascendancy crisis that led to her own experience on the throne. Blumel portrayed Lord Guildford Dudley, Lady Jane Grey’s lover and one of the shape-shifting Aethians who find themselves persecuted by the powerless Verity ruling class. My Lady Jane was canceled after one season.

Although My Lady Jane has remained canceled for almost a month, there have been many fan-led attempts to revive it. Now, taking to his personal Instagram story, Blumel Shared a screenshot of Martin’s blog, where the Song of Ice and Fire The author shared his support for the series, his sadness at its cancellation, and the petition launched to save it.
