It’s not uncommon for a line or short scene in a movie to start to feel a little dated over time. Even films that generally feel timeless can contain elements that don’t always hold up perfectly. Although from time to time there are entire films whose plots become outdated due to the development of modern technology. Problems that once sent characters on entire adventures can now be solved with the click of a button.
However, this does not necessarily detract from the quality of the film itself. It’s important to remember that all films are a product of their time; It’s not the filmmakers’ fault that the new technology didn’t exist when the idea for the film was conceived. However, it can still be nice to think about how different these films would be if they took place in the present day. While these films continue to be loved by audiences, there is no denying the huge impact that modern technology will have on their stories.

The case could be resolved in a matter of seconds if the accused had a home security camera.. Jurors would only have to watch the footage and they would know whether to vote “guilty” or “not guilty.” Fortunately, Henry Fonda’s courtroom heroism makes the film so gripping that audiences are unlikely to think about this reality.

In today’s world, the task of finding a priceless treasure would be much more feasible. Thanks to the invention of Apple AirTag technology, people can tag any valuable item with these tags, which will then allow the user to track the location of the item remotely. If the Templars had access to AirTags, they could immediately track down the Maltese falcon.. Unfortunately, this would have deprived audiences of the chance to see Humphrey Bogart put his detective skills to the test.

Of course, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a couple to Uber from New York to Illinois. However, it would be very easy for them to get to another airport or car rental agency after their original flight was diverted. It would have saved Neil and Del a lot of time, although it would have cost them many valuable memories.

Unfortunately for Frank, it would be almost impossible to implement this scheme today. Significant improvements in airport security technology would certainly prevent him from simply putting on someone else’s uniform and walking onto a plane without asking questions. Further developments in surveillance systems would also likely have resulted in Frank being captured much earlier than he was in the film. This new technology would have made the film much less interesting, whether you were rooting for Frank or the officer pursuing him.

The Lord of the Rings series (2001–2003)
A drone would save the Brotherhood from long walks
Peter Jackson’s adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien Lord of the Ringsis among the most critically acclaimed film trilogies of all time. What follows is a series of three films. an epic journey of a diverse group of characters across Middle-earth in an attempt to destroy the legendary One Ring once and for all in the fires of Mount Doom. The Perilous Journey highlights the characters’ bravery and perseverance as they travel vast distances and face many dangerous threats.
However, with the help of modern technology, this entire three-film journey would become unnecessary. Frodo could have simply attached the One Ring to the drone.and then relaxed in the Shire while he flew off to Mount Doom. Certainly, Lord of the Rings takes place in a fictional world without such technology, but one can’t help but wonder how differently the story would have unfolded if the characters had access to these devices.
