The crow probably lost money.

While The CrowThe box office total is notable, it still won’t be enough for the film to profit. The adaptation was made on a reported budget of around $50 million. Once publicity and marketing costs are considered, the film probably needs between $100 and $150 million at the box office to break even. In its entire run, the 2024 reimaging Will make only a fraction of the total, which means it is likely to lose a lot of money. There are several reasons why The Crow May have struggled at the box office. I see the two most obvious reasons coming down to the movie’s early backlash when the first footage of SkarsgÃ¥rd’s Erik was released and the negative reviews. These factors likely contributed to the disinterest long before its release. The 2024 adaptation was also released in a competitive part of the summer in which it had to compete with Alien: Romulus And Trap. Whatever factor ultimately led to The CrowEven the latest milestone at the box office cannot save it from commercial disappointment.
