How to start (& win) Prime Wars at once man

There are two main types of season scenarios in Once man (PvE and PvP) which dictate whether the primary events are working together or against other players. In PvE scenarios, Players work cooperatively To achieve season goals to advance the stages of the scenario, including defeating world bosses and participating in group events, such as Prime Wars.

Prime Wars involve players building defenses for a Steroid restrainer And defeat powerful bosses, or Original entity (OE) familythrough specific strategies. Each player present can contribute in different ways to earn points to receive rewards, and completing a Prime War allows access to higher leveled Prime Wars that would otherwise be limited. Here’s how to participate in, and win, Prime Wars Once man.

What is a prime war?

General information about what, how and why

Prime Wars is a PvE mechanic where players arrive at designated locations to participate in a group boss event. They can be seen on the map and will have a Shimmering shield of stars around their locations when traveling to them. Prime Wars can be Easy, Hard, Pro and Nightmare Require players to complete the previous difficulty to advance. In general, Prime Wars have four main phases.

Phase

What happens

Preparations

  • Establish defenses around the steroid restrainer

  • Set up defenses around host spawn for Defense Structures points

  • Placing foundations and Gatling turrets for shield break phases

  • Injuring and healing for Team Support points

Breaking shield

  • Use Gatling Turrets to break the OE Kin shield

Regular damage

  • Use regular weapons, diversions and tactical items to damage the OE Kin

Final Assault

  • Varies depending on OE Kin type

  • “Finisher move” with different strategies to avoid or prevent

These phases are consistent throughout all Prime Wars. Building in the preparation phase can begin when you arrive at the Prime War location, regardless of whether the restrainer is activated or not. however, Earning points Will not start until the countdown timer starts. after five minutes, The OE Kin will spawn And the battle will begin.

Earning Points in Prime Wars

Formerly human character on Gatling Turret.

There are four main types of points that can be earned in Prime Wars, which are needed to “finish” the Prime War. Completing a Prime War involves earning enough points to obtain all three reward chests from the Prime War, and also provides an additional one-time reward of stateroom.

Point type

How to get it

Silver Plague Vanquisher

  • Earned by attacking OE Kin Shield

  • Requires Gatling Turret and Biomass Missiles or Red Plasma Rounds

Monster Elimination

  • Earned from damage done to OE Kin (without shield)

  • Also earned by defeating additional monster spawns

Defense structures

  • Earned from damage to or destruction of fortification buildings

Team support

  • Earned by healing yourself or others and assisting others if downed

The easiest of these to earn is the Silver Plague VanquisherAlthough it requires unlocking the memetic to build these Gatling Turret (“Close Defense Turret” in the memetics menu), preferably the level 2 turret. Using a Gatling Turret and Biomass Missiles or Red Plasma Rounds is required to break the Oe Kin’s shield. If there are any turrets in the prime war, this is it It is highly unlikely that the prime war will succeed.

Monster Elimination Does direct damage to the OE Kin bosses and other monster spawns. This should be done after the shield is broken, and involves using your regular weapons and deflections to damage the OE Kin. If there is not enough damage fast enough, then the OE Kin will regenerate his shieldRequiring turrets to be used again.

Previously, graphically intensive build effects such as Burn Builds or Frost damage were discouraged due to lag, and players were urged not to use their deviations. However, server performance seems to have improved drastically, and both elemental effects and deviations have been successfully used in Prime Wars lasts less than five minutes.

Defense structures Points are earned when placed defenses are destroyed or damaged by the OE Kin and other enemies. Preferably, foundations, walls, doors, and Fencing should be placed around the steroid restrainer To protect it from attack. You can also place defenses near the spawn point of the OE Kin to slow down the progression. however, Do not spam fences on the spawn point or OE Kin’s path. This causes significant lag issues if too many people do it, and is generally frowned upon during Prime Wars.

Finally, the Team support Points are the easiest to do and can be done before the OE Kin spawns to provide approximately 300 points. To do this, simply use a grenade, molotov or drop damage to reduce your health or yourself. Then, use an Activator or Adrenaline Shot to heal back. If you do this for enough healing, you should get a total of 300 points.

Find and start a Prime War

Activating steroid inhibitors and preparing for war

Steroid restrainer in once person.

Steroid restrainers Are the activation point for Prime Wars, and also the final goal of the OE Kin bosses. In order to start a Prime War, one player must provide a number of SteroidsA currency rewarded through gameplay, quests and commissions, to start the Prime War. Once activated, a five-minute timer will start, allowing players to now teleport to that location and prepare.

In my experience, those five minutes are plenty of time to set up defenses, consume foods and drinks for buffs, and set up your offensive positions. However, if you are new to Prime Wars, I recommend arriving Before the restrainer is activated So you can get your bearings. Specifically, you will want to know Where the restrainer is and where the host will spawn.

If you have the time, try to visit the Prime War locations well before one is expected to start. So, you can Find the spawner And mark it on your map for reference, as well Scope out a good defensive spot To place your turrets.

Each Prime War boss has a spawn in the Prime War area, which looks like a Silvery liquid puddle on the ground. Make sure to place your foundations, fences and turrets with this location in mind to be sure you can see and hit the OE Kin when it spawns. Do not place foundations and turrets too close, because they can be destroyed by the O.

Once the shield is destroyed and the OE Kin’s health is drastically reduced, you will notice the boss Becomes immune to damage But he didn’t have any Zilibra skills. This means it is preparing for its final assault. Hold your fire and complete the final assault conditions, after which the OE Kin will be vulnerable again and can be defeated.

Chief

Tips to defeat them

Ravenous Hunter

  • Mechanics are similar to the Ravenous Hunter (Monolith of Greed) boss

  • Slow and somewhat small. Can be difficult to hit with turrets from long distances

  • His head is an easy weakspot to hit while doing regular damage

  • Final Assault: Missile Launch

    • The hunter becomes immune and launches a giant missile into the sky

    • Look up and wait for missile to spawn (it’s huge and hard to miss)

    • Attack and destroy the missile before it lands or else the prime war is lost

Shadow dog

  • Mechanics are similar to the boss of Shadow Hound (Monolith of Thirst).

  • Big, slow, but its attacks are most likely to break defenses

  • Be sure to place additional fortifications in front of turrets

    • The boss can do a “ground shovel” attack by charging along the ground and demolishing all low-level defenses in front of it.

  • Final Assault: Cannonball Crash

    • The dog will launch into the sky and briefly disappear before plummeting to the restrainer

    • It does not take damage in this form

    • Run to the crash site and defeat the Hound before it reaches and destroys the restrainer

secret servant

  • Flying boss that can easily fly over most ground-based defenses

  • Recommended to have a backup turret location ready, as the host may have multiple paths to reach the restrainer and may move out of range

  • Has a great AoE attack, but it’s rarely at the right height to damage players or defenses

  • Final Assault: Splitting Servitor

    • The servitor becomes immune and splits into three different forms

    • The real servitor has black wings, and the fake ones have silver wings

    • Quickly defeat the real servitor before it recovers and destroys the restrainer

Ultimate tips and tricks for Prime Wars

Additional things to know

Prime Wars require the cooperation of the server to complete. Thankfully, each Prime War is instantiated and combines all players from each world up to a maximum of 40 players. Communicate in chat to coordinate a start time for Prime Wars and make sure other players are available to join, and give updates on the countdown timer so they know when to get ready.

At a minimum, it should be at least Two Gatling turrets Present for each Prime War, preferably the tier two version, although higher Prime War difficulties will need more. The easiest way to pack and build turrets for Prime Wars is to Build them into your base and then demolish them. The resources for the turrets will be Put in your inventory.

If you have the resources, you can help other players participate by Bring enough supplies for multiple turrets. However, I found that Too many turrets Will create significant lag issues. More than eight or so players on a turret cause issues during the shield phase and can prevent missiles from landing.

Biomass missiles and red plasma rounds are the two primary forms of ammunition for Gatling turrets. Both methods are somewhat expensive to craft, but red plasma rounds expire over 24 hours and require memetic specialization to craft. They do, however, deal a large amount of damage to host shields. Choose carefully which you prefer to make, but if you have easy access to fuel and oil refining, biomass missiles can be much cheaper.

There is also an additional memetic specialization that Increases the damage of Gatling Turrets you build by +30%. There is also one that Reduces the weight of biomass missiles and also triples the amount crafted. If you don’t have the biomass missile memetic specialization, ask if someone in your server does, and if they’re willing to make missiles for you. Many players are willing to do this.

Overall, Prime Wars can be a difficult but rewarding event Once man Requiring cooperation between players. Although it may seem difficult at first, many players are willing to help others by providing advice, foundations, turrets and ammunition so that every war is a success. With a little practice, you should have no trouble holding your own and defeating the bosses!
