Dwight Manfredi went to prison for trying to bribe Stacy Bial
Probably the most important thing that happened at the end of Tulsa King Season 1 is Stacey Bile betraying Dwight. Stacey and Dwight had a contentious relationship throughout the first season, as they started as lovers and became complicated friends on different sides of the law. Eventually, after helping Dwight fight Caolan Waltrip, the leader of the Black McAdams shoots Stacey. Dwight then visited her in her hotel room, and in an effort to repay her for the help she had given him, Dwight gave Stacey a flash drive containing $1 million that he had stolen from Kowloon.
Tulsa King Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on September 15.
Stacey, however, saw Dwight’s money as a different kind of opportunity. Stacey felt she would be fired from the ATF for conspiring with a known criminal, but the ATF offered her a chance to be reinstated if she flipped on Dwight. So, Stacey betrayed Dwight, gave the flash drive to the ATF, and had him arrested for attempted bribery of a federal agent.. The last scenes of Tulsa King In season 1, Dwight was hauled off to prison, which should set the stage for Tulsa King Season 2 to resolve his run-in with the law.

Goodie Carangi left the Invernessy crime family and joined Dwight
Dwight is not only facing challenges from the Black McAdams and the FBI Tulsa King Season 1, though. In the season finale, Chickie Invernizzi brought Vince and Goody with him to Tulsa to kill Dwight. Dwight anticipated that move, however, and brought backup of his own in the form of Tyson, Armand, and some hired muscle. After cheating on Chickie, Dwight threatened to leave Tulsa and offered Goody a chance to bond with him.. Goody decided to leave Cheeky and the Invernessi crime family, and he stayed in Tulsa while the other two went back to New York.

Dwight’s showdown with Cheeky and Goody’s decision to leave the Mafia could have some big consequences for Tulsa King Season 2. Dwight and Cheeky are now openly hostile towards each other, as opposed to the more surreptitious ways Cheeky has been trying to undermine Dwight.. Goodie will also bring some experience to Dwight’s new gang, and he could be an important part of his plan to expand his criminal empire. Either way, Dwight, Chickie and Goodie will almost certainly have a little more to their story Tulsa King Season 2.

Bodhi’s weed dispensary was raided by the FBI
Tulsa King Season 2 is set to tell the story of Dwight expanding the reach of his criminal dealings, and an important way he’ll do that is through Bodhi and his weed operation. Before Bodhi can help, however, Dwight needs to help him establish his dispensary. in Tulsa King Season 1, the FBI raided Bodhi’s store, The Higher Plane. However, Dwight saved Bodhi’s money and his supply of weed before the FBI could seize it, proving that he really had Bodhi’s interests at heart.. Bodhi then became involved in Dwight’s plans to convert the Bred2Buck into a casino.
Whether it’s through his computer hacking skills or his weed business, Bodhi will almost certainly be an important player in Tulsa King season 2.
Another important thing to remember about Bodhi’s story in Tulsa King Season 1 has him now a willing participant in Dwight’s gang. Bodhi and Dwight’s relationship got off to a bad start, as Dwight essentially strong-armed Bodhi into paying protection money. After the raid, however, Bodhi became much more willing to help with Dwight’s gang, and he even let Dwight in on his cryptocurrency theft.. Whether it’s through his computer hacking skills or his weed business, Bodhi will almost certainly be an important player in Tulsa King Season 2.

Dwight & Mitch Keller opened a casino together
One of Dwight’s biggest plans in Tulsa King Season 1 was to renovate Mitch Keller’s bar, the Bread2Buck. Basically, Dwight wanted to convert the Bred2Buck into a casino because he saw it as a way to “print” and launder money. Because the Bred2Buck was on Cherokee land, and by making Jimmy the weed dealer an owner of the bar, Dwight was able to secure a casino license. Then, by using Bodhi’s money from the higher plane, Dwight and Mitch are able to finish their project and open the Bred2Buck Cabaret and Casino..
Dwight’s plan to turn the Bred2Buck into a casino also has quite a bit for Mitch. Because he no longer had to own and operate the bar himself, he was able to become the living in-house musician. The casino also brought Mitch and Dwight much closer, and since he’s no longer running the bar alone, Mitch will almost certainly become a bigger player in Dwight’s gang.. He will bring some serious muscle and experience to the Cowboys side of Tulsa that Dwight could really use, which should help Tulsa King Season 2 be bigger and better.

Armand Truisi and Clara had marital problems in his history as a gangster
Dwight’s arrival in Tulsa wasn’t initially a good thing for almost anyone, but it was especially bad for Armand Troisi. Tulsa King Season 1 revealed that Armand was part of the Invernizzi crime family along with Dwight, but that he left years before and started a family in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, Armand hasn’t told his wife, Clara, about his past as a gangster, and Dwight’s arrival exposes his lies.. Armand was able to calm Clara down for a while by being more assertive, but at the end of the season, Clara gave him an ultimatum: move to Idaho or file for divorce.
Related
Tulsa King He didn’t actually reveal how Armand handled Clara’s ultimatum, but it could be very important for season 2. Most of his family problems stem from Dwight, and even if Armand is now working for him, Clara’s ultimatum may cause some tension between them. It’s not clear how Armind’s family troubles will play out, but they could snowball into a major problem for both himself and Dwight in Tulsa King Season 2.

Tina visits Tulsa and rekindles her relationship with Dwight
Tulsa King is a story about Dwight starting his life as a gangster and as a father, and Tina Manfredi was an incredibly important part of the latter goal. Tina and Dwight have a very strained relationship at the beginning of Tulsa King Season 2, when Dwight didn’t speak to her for over a decade after he went to prison. After Dwight’s brother, Joe, died, the two began to reconnect, but it wasn’t until Dwight killed Nico that Tina was willing to give him another chance.. Eventually, Tina agreed to visit Tulsa, and Dwight got to meet his grandchildren for the first time.

Based on the trailer for Tulsa King Season 2 looks like Tina will continue to support her relationship with Dwight even after the arrest. Several scenes in the trailer showed Dwight with his grandchildren, which could be an indication that Tina decided to stay in Tulsa. At the very least, Tina will continue to be a big part of Tulsa KingAnd she should give Dwight plenty of opportunities to be a better father than he was.

Cheeky killed Pete and took over the Invernessi crime family
In one of the most shocking twists of Tulsa King Season 1 Chickie became the head of the Invernizzi crime family by betraying his own father. After learning that Pete is recovering from his stroke and other health concerns, Chickie decides to hasten the process of his death by drowning Pete in a bathtub.. As Pete’s son, Chiki was the heir to the crime family of Invernessi, and he took control of the mafia. Although killing his father gave him control of the mob, Chickie’s issues didn’t end there, as he also had to contend with Dwight.
Related
It’s also important to note that Cheeky’s decision to kill Pete was the culmination of several increasingly unhinged decisions he made throughout. Tulsa King Season 1. Cheeky began the season as a relatively normal, albeit evil, underboss to Pete. At the end of the season, however, he shed his wig, made some moves behind Pete’s back – like mugging Tina’s husband – before killing his father, and began to unleash his rage on some of his capos. Which put the mafia in a precarious position, and Tulsa King Season 2 will almost certainly continue Chickie’s descent into more unhinged and violent behavior.

Dwight & Margaret Devereaux started dating
Dwight and Stacey’s relationship is basically doomed, considering how their work puts them on opposite sides of the law. Eventually, Dwight moved on and found a new romantic interest in Margaret Devereaux, the owner of the Fennario Ranch where Armand worked.. Although Dwight initially introduced himself as a private investigator, Margaret quickly saw through his act and called him out on it. After Dwight brought his horse, Pilot, to stay at the ranch, she offered to buy him dinner, and the two hit it off pretty quickly.
It should also be interesting to see how Margaret reacts to the news of Dwight’s arrest, and the revelation that he is a high-level gangster.
Now that Stacey betrayed Dwight at the end of Tulsa King Season 1, there is almost definitely no way they will get back together. That leaves the door wide open for Tulsa King Season 2 to explore Dwight and Margaret’s relationship even further, and to see how they influence each other. It should also be interesting to see how Margaret reacts to the news of Dwight’s arrest, and the revelation that he is a high-level gangster. From the way Margaret has seen through Dwight in the past, it seems like she may be around for a while Tulsa King Season 2.

Tyson’s father had some issues with him working for Dwight
Tulsa King Season 1 was filled with emotional moments, from the funeral for Dwight’s brother to him reuniting with Tina, but one of the most heartbreaking stories focused on Tyson. During the season, viewers learned that Tyson had previously dropped out of college, and that his father, Mark, seriously disapproved of his decision to work for Dwight.. The father and son duo had some ups and downs in the decision – Mark kicked Tyson out of the house at one point, but he also helped Dwight’s gang fight the Black McAdams at the festival – but they were unable to settle their differences.

In the finale of Tulsa King Season 1, Tyson and Mark reached an impasse. Tyson refused to stop working for Dwight, and Mark refused to accept that his son was a gangster. So, Tyson doubled down on his work, moved on, and he shared an emotional goodbye hug with Mark before he did. Tyson’s new identity as a true gangster will surely be a plot point Tulsa King Season 2, and Mark may even return to try to get Tyson to leave the criminal life again.

Dwight’s gang killed Caolan Waltrip & the Black McAdams
Aside from Stacey Biel betraying Dwight, one of the biggest things to happen at the end Tulsa King Season 1 was the final showdown with Caolan Waltrip and the Black McAdams. Caolan and the Black McAdams were a thorn in Dwight’s side throughout the first season: they bribed the police to arrest Tyson, they kidnapped Bodhi, and they shot the Bread2Buck, among many other things. Their conflict with Dwight came to a head when they attacked the bar, and Dwight’s gang handily wiped out the entire biker gang..

That doesn’t mean Tulsa King Season 2 will be easy for Dwight, however, as the new season has added two new villains: Cal Thresher and Bill Bevilaqua. It seems that Thresher and Bevilaqua are set to fill the void left by Caolan and the Black Macadams, and they will be the new big threats to Dwight’s empire in Tulsa. With them, and with everything else that happened in Tulsa King Season 1 The new season is sure to be packed with new developments.
