Marvel Hid the Coolest Part of Agatha Harkness’s MCU Costume

Agatha all the time revealed a new side of WandaVision supporting character, but an interesting detail about her remains hidden even after Agatha all the timeis ending. The MCU’s latest Disney+ series has shocked many people with its success, and a lot of that is due to the genuine authenticity and passion in the production, which we hope will be emulated by upcoming MCU releases. Not only did the team create a completely practical version of Witches’ Road, but they also managed to convey the difference of each trial through the show’s extensive wardrobe.

Part of the path that Agatha all the time portrays the story of Agatha’s life through her costume. Agatha spent decades in the MCU timeline spreading the myth of the Witch’s Road and deceiving witches about her power, and the series showed how many eras she traveled through in all her period costumes. However, one of Agatha’s most iconic outfits is actually the one she started her journey in, and Marvel hid some incredible details in it.

The coolest detail of the Agatha All Along costume is hidden in Agatha’s coat

At the first official meeting of their clan, Agatha is wearing a long navy blue coat with a white collared shirt and purple pants underneath it. The outfit is completely in keeping with the stylish witch, especially with the clothes she was seen wearing in the next few episodes. In addition to being fashionable, Agatha’s clan attire incorporated details that the series never showcased. Assembled from Marvel Studios: The Making of Agatha All Along showed fans that the coolest part of Agatha’s costume was embroidered on the inside of the coat, never to be seen on screen.

Agatha all the time costume designer Daniel Selon revealed an intricate raven pattern on Agatha’s coat. There is a murmur of crows near the collar of his coat, swooping down his back and diving into the chaos. The bird pattern then disperses and turns into magical ruins along the sides of the inner jacket. Intended to represent Agatha as a clanless witch through imagery of lone ravens, the coat’s interior pattern is arguably the coolest detail of her costume, and it’s a shame it was never properly shown in the actual series.

Why did Agatha always hide costume details inside Agatha’s coat?

How fans got to know Agatha throughout WandaVision and Agatha all the timethey know she is a witch with many secrets. The fun part of the character is that the viewer is constantly wondering about the truth, knowing that the witch is probably hiding something. As such, this aspect of the character is reflected in the costume and its hidden details – especially since such a detail would have been difficult for the show to explicitly address or explain naturally without feeling like an excuse to show off this cool wardrobe part of the series.

Agatha all the time ends with Agatha becoming a hero of sorts, albeit semi-forcefully, as she’s just tagging along on Billy’s quest to find his brother. She’s undoubtedly being groomed for a future in the MCU, and that could mean the return of her prized jacket and a reveal of the internal pattern. With how Agatha all the time ended, the pattern became more representative of the character than ever before. Once the crows move away from the group, Agatha and Billy have separated from the clan and are about to embark on their own.
