American Horror Stories Season 4 gets a premiere date and reveals its cast. A spinach from the US American Horror Story Franchise from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the series takes the anthology format to an episodic level. Each episode usually focuses on a quick and self-contained story, with new characters, although some installments have included connections to the larger AHS Universe. There were relatively few headlines about it American Horror Stories Season 4, but that has now changed with Halloween drawing closer.

TVLine Confirmed that American Horror Stories Season 4 will debut with five episodes on Tuesday, October 15 on Hulu. The cast includes Michael Imperioli (The White Lotus season 2, The Sopranos), Henry Winkler (Barry, Happy days), Debbie Ryan (Useless), Jeff Hiller (American Horror Story: NYC, Someone somewhere), Victor Garber (Alias, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), and June Squibb (Thelma, Palm Springs). PoseDyllón Burnside’s also appeared alongside Youngman Pose Alm Malach Bismarck Curiel and 3 body problem Actor Guy Burnett, while Jessica Barden returned after previously appearing in the anthology. Additional cast members are yet to be announced.

Is American Horror Story worth watching?

American Horror Stories is very much a part of these American Horror Story universe and that pertains not only to the occasional story connection or continuity. It also informs the type of storytelling that the episodic anthology is interested in exploring, with several installments focused on serial killers, toxic love and bullying taken to the extreme. Although these will seem familiar to anyone who watched the main series, the spinoff sometimes surprises with a lively burst that is inventive and unexpected.

Executive produced by Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Jon Robin Baitz and Manny Cotto, in addition to Murphy and Falchuk, the reviews for American Horror Story are somewhat negative. Season 1 has a Approval rating of 52% on Rotten Tomatoes Based on 39 reviews. Subsequent seasons garnered less coverage in terms of reviews from television critics. But as an anthology, like others in the same format, American Horror Stories is a mixed bag.

As there are only five episodes, likely with a relatively short running time, the best advice may be to look for a premise and a cast list that is promising or to wait until the American Horror Stories Episodes are ranked. Even the best of the anthology is not without flaws. But when it works, the format makes for a fun way to spend an hour or so in the run-up to Halloween.
