The Stardew Valley Fair is a perennial fall stapleand it’s no surprise, it happens every 16th of autumn, which always falls on a Tuesday. During this event, there is also the opportunity to participate in an exhibition competition, and preparation can make a big difference in securing the prize. Passively threatening the entire city is not a reliable way to win the contest, but it is a very talented way. Letting Pierre sweep the fair is like letting the villain win, so it’s easy to sympathize with the aggressor in this situation.

A commentator, Suraxsummarized the threat directly as “Give me first place or I’ll blow up the city!“. Another Reddit user, Tasty_Lead_Painthighlighted the seriousness of the situation, stating “The fair is the only event in the city that I attend every year, without fail. I love diving in Pierre.” Winning also guarantees a gifeet of 1,000 star tokens, which could cover the purchase of an award ticket that Pierre might well envy.
