Marvel announced that Spider-Man will face the Predator in an epic crossover series, as first revealed in a surprise announcement at the end of the latest issue of Predator vs. Black Panther. Arriving in 2025, Predator vs. Spider-Man will pit your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man against pop culture’s most dangerous alien huntersas they continue their integration into Marvel lore.
Predator vs. Spider-Man – written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Marcelo Ferreira – follows in the wake of Predator vs. wolverine and Predator vs. Black Paternalboth miniseries also written by Percy, which each pitted, in their own way, the Yautja against Marvel’s most formidable fighters.
While Spider-Man isn’t the brutal fighter that Wolverine is, or an experienced hand-to-hand combatant like Black Panther, he’s certainly among Marvel’s most resourceful heroes – and taking on the Predator will certainly push Peter Parker to his limits.

Predator vs. Spider-Man is the third chapter in a trilogy of miniseries based on the premise of placing legendary Marvel heroes in conflict with the fearsome Yautja. Furthermore, this has been part of a larger comics renaissance for the Predator franchise, which also involved well-received standalone stories that built on the lore of the films and introduced exciting new concepts to the Predator mythology. Now, Marvel fan-favorite Webslinger will be the next prey of the hunter-killer alien species.
THE [Predator] franchise… has repeatedly emphasized the tactical capabilities of Yautja hunters, and it’s this aspect of their game that Spider-Man will put to the test in Predator vs. Spider-Man.
Spider-Man is an exciting choice for the next entry in this series; the character offers a different fighting style and overall dynamic compared to previous opposing Marvel heroes of Yautja, Wolverine and Black Panther. Although casual fans of Predator may regard them as ruthless killers, the franchise – on screen and in its multimedia franchises – has repeatedly emphasized the tactical capabilities of the Yautja hunters, and it is this aspect of their game that Spider-Man will put to the test in Predator vs. Spider-Man.
