Welcome to PlattevillePlath’s Moria used to talk about her black heart, but a recent breakup with a man who had a shady past showed Moria’s deep vulnerability – she lives with depression, hair loss and many other problems). Back when. Maria broke down because Max Kohlschmidt was not ready – he cut her off. She would greatly benefit from taking a break from dating, Rather than depending on people to fill in the blanks in your life. If she doesn’t make different choices, she may find that she always ends up in the same dark place.
On September 10, during Welcome to Platteville season 6, episode 9, “That’s what walls are for,” Moria really opened up about her life, sharing details about her hair loss:
“The last few months, I’ve noticed, for myself at least, heartbreak triggers my alopecia. I think it’s an extraordinary reflection of what’s going on inside.”
Your romance with a bad man is affecting you – stress worsens most health conditions. So, Moriah has to find ways to feel good and love herself. A romance with a man who has lied and hidden important truths about his life is bound to end in disaster. What Moria needs is to find outlets that give her peace of mind – music is one example.
Moriah was involved with an injured man who was suffering
He knew the Welcome to Platteville Star
Her ex, Max, was great at first – clean-cut, interested in getting along with her family, and intelligent. He may have a lot of good points, but eventually, Max lets Moriah down. They were young, and maybe he wasn’t ready for a commitment. When another partner hid things about his life from her, such as the presence of another love interest, she was crushed.
She is also emotionally invested in these relationships, hoping for some story.
Moriah is a smart and beautiful young woman. She is talented, fit and charming. But people can, in a sense, bring you down. This is a weakness that she needs to address, but it has to be said that most women her age go through the same things. Few people find their eternal matches easily. A little emotional turmoil is required before a man finds a good match. When Moriah came to terms with the fact that she was involved with someone who didn’t really love her, it began to take a toll on her health.

Kim Plath, who is so often a selfish and awkward mother, seemed to care that Moria’s heart was broken again. On screen, she said that the last breakup was:
Much harder for many reasons
She comforted Moriah, but in the past, Kim did everything she could to make her daughter’s life stressful. For example, she gave Moriah a hard time over her relationship with Olivia Plath, who is now divorcing Ethan Plath. Olivia used to do nice things for Moriah, like for example Took her on a trip that gave her a taste of freedom. She was a good influence in many ways, but Kim never approved of Olivia.
Welcome to Plathville’s Moria Lives With Alopecia
This hair loss condition can be stress-related
Since she was a child, Moriah has lived with alopecia. Jasmine Pineda of the 90 day fiance Franchise has the same condition. Their hair falls out in patches and this really triggers them. They are in the public eye, so this kind of hair loss creates even more issues than it would for a private citizen. Reality stars are constantly being filmed, photographed and judged. Learn about Moria’s hair issues in the TLC Clip above, via YouTube.
Moriah says heartbreak makes her hair fall out. This is probably true. However, she was only four years old when the hair condition developed. It was quite serious, and at one point, she was completely bald. That would be so hard for a little girl. The young Moriah probably grew up with many insecurities, which she carried with her for the rest of her life.
Moria’s long battle with alopecia helps explain why she is so exceptionally vulnerable now. She deserves compassion and kindness even though she has made mistakes, such as blaming her former best friend Olivia for posting her music online and pocketing the proceeds.
Apparently, her new relationship was terrible. She was duped, believing that her shadowy partner was her own. However, he was hiding another relationship this whole time. That’s a lot to do to another person, and this person clearly lacks empathy. It sounds like former villain Moriah was blindsided when information about her ex’s double life came to light. It will take time to get over this.
Now, Moriah is not at war with her parents. She seems to be at peace with boat lover Kim, who is in the throes of a midlife crisis. She relies on Barry for emotional support, and he is very good to her, giving her space to heal, but also listening. He is good to his daughter.
If Moria spends the healing time thinking about life outside of her romantic relationships, she will build herself up. She may unconsciously choose people who will eventually disapprove of her. Her parents rarely approved of her choices when she was growing up.
This stuff happens – there may be a reason why so many people are attracted to partners with major red flags. They relive the dynamics of the relationship through other people, perhaps subconsciously looking for different outcomes. In such situations, positive outcomes are highly unlikely. So, changing is the way to go.
Sometimes, people repeat patterns, but they don’t have to. They can change. Moriah has her whole life ahead of her, and she is not defined by relationships with dishonest people. She is not a cheater in relationships – it was the people who were dishonest, not her. Once she builds her self-esteem, she may find that her alopecia symptoms ease. Do these Welcome to Platteville Star has some hair loss or not, she is a beautiful person.
