Pokémon HorizonsSeason 2 is coming to Netflix in the US and other areas, and now fans finally have a premiere date. Season two will see Liko and Roy face new challenges as they try to master the mysterious power of Terastal.
Pokémon Horizons began in Japan in 2023 and premiered in English on Netflix on March 7, 2024. The series is the first main anime in the franchise to focus on a protagonist other than Ash Ketchum, and it radically shook up what the Pokémon anime could be. With a strong, ongoing plot revolving around a mysterious Ancient Adventurer and his legendary Pokémon, the Six Heroes, Pokémon Horizons has been making noise with its first season. The final batch of episodes for season 1 is scheduled for November 22, 2024, while the season 2 premiere has been announced for February 7, 2025.

The second season of Pokémon Horizonstitled “The Search for Laqua”, it will initially focus on Liko, Roy and Dot enrolling in Naranja Academy to gain experience with Terastallizing, a mysterious transformation that can increase Pokémon’s power. The trio will travel through the Paldea region, as seen in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games as part of their training, challenging Gym Leaders and testing their skills. In that regard, Pokémon HorizonsThe second season will be very similar to Ash Ketchum’s time, but with this new cast of characters.
