It’s not unheard of for Marvel characters, like PoisonTo have unexpected adventures that go far beyond their origins and usual storylines. A cosplay, shared on Instagram by @mr.markmeer, imagines the symbiote as a president in the middle of his campaign. It also includes his own secret service member to protect him.
Venom’s had his fair share of adventures and variants, from a Tyrannosaurus rex to skateboarding in his early years in disguise. Loki had a presidential version of himself that was part of the original Disney+ series, Loki. Gift may not be the commander-in-chief, but there’s a good chance he’d be heavily invested in extraterrestrial policies.
This imaginative cosplay shows how far Marvel can take his What if…? Concepts with the iconic symbiote as the central focus. He is one of Spider-Man’s greatest opponents, but he has successfully carved a name for himself that can stretch into more creative zones.
Gift for President highlights an intriguing concept
The symbiote wouldn’t be the first villain to run for public office
This Venom cosplay features the symbiote in a suit, complete with a campaign button that reads “Gift for president. Rotten to the core.” It’s complete with a tie that has his white spider symbol on it. @zaxmon1 is credited as Venom’s secret service member while the two attended DragonCon. The symbiote also comes with its own running mate, as he hates Venom / Eddie Brock ticket This is far from traditional, but it can provide an intriguing balance and make for some interesting debates about how to deal with situations.

However, he hasn’t been in the role long and could use some more time to develop before trying to rule an entire country made up of multiple species, not just Klintar. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see his policy stances and approach to handling some of the issues of Marvel heroes. The angle would become even more interesting if he were to run against President Loki, allowing for some incredibly intriguing debates.
Marvel’s Multiverse provides the perfect venue for creative stories and angles
Considering the many twists in comics – and now on screen – that can happen thanks to the existence of the multiverse, it is not impossible for Venom to run for president. In the existence of President Loki, there may be several worlds in which other iconic heroes and villains have moved their way into positions of power, like Lex Luthor in the DC universe. After all, even Red Skull served a term as president in the Wastelanders series, spinning off from Old Man Logan. gift s Presidency would be worth exploring and following if Marvel were to be as creative as fans’ cosplays prove they can be.
