What this means for NBC in 2025

There are some interesting new creative options

Some of the shows listed are network mainstays, with franchises making up a large portion of NBC’s viewership. There is a good chance that A Chicago and Law and Order will continue to produce compelling and exciting programs that capture attention and maintain ratings at consistent high levels. However, NBC clearly understood the need to evolve in other areasand some interesting new shows are debuting, which could be an unexpected hit for the network right off the bat.

Namely, The Hunting Group, Suits: LAand Grosse Point Garden Society all three shows are having series premieres in 2025, and each offers a very different perspective for viewers. The Hunting Group It is a procedural crime, Suits: LA is a legal drama, and Grosse Point Garden Society It’s a police drama. This very diverse trio of shows could emerge as NBC’s next big thing, while returning to hit shows like the Melissa Rauch comedy. Night Court and St. John’s Medical Clinichave a wealth of creative talent that can help the network perform even better in 2025.

Our Take on How This Will Shape NBC’s Future

Expect strong dramas in the coming years

These release dates suggest that NBC is focused on bringing more exciting and diverse dramas to the forefront, and that could shape most of its future. Although the network is known for its successful and long-running comedies, like the legendary comedy remake The officealso has a proven track record of strong dramatic shows, and that trend looks set to continue. I think all 15 titles could flourish in 2025, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all renewed for more seasons in the future and became a key part of the NBCtransmission strategy.
