One of the most shocking things to come out of poison war is the appearance of the archaea, a terrible symbiote that even the king in black feared. But unlike the other examples, the arachniote is not going to share control with Mary Jane. Instead, it will likely simply absorb her power as it continues its rampage across New York, and now Spider-Man will have to find a way to defeat it without her help..
