Elizabeth Olsen is back as a version of Scarlet Witch next year, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a lot of exciting films and series that would make sense for Wanda Maximoff to appear. Olsen’s Marvel character was last seen in 2022 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhich caused Scarlet Witch to seemingly die. Then, Agatha all the time teased that Wanda could return in future MCU projects, especially since the show featured one of her sons, Billy Maximoff.
Scarlet Witch’s journey in the MCU is likely far from over, as Olsen wants to return as the character, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently commented on Scarlet Witch’s return in the MCU, saying, “We’re excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch might return.” Adding to this, Wanda will be back in 2025, with Olsen will play a different version of the character in the animated series Marvel Zombies. Upon her return to Marvel, Olsen’s Scarlet Witch could appear in several MCU projects.

Agatha all the time season 2
WandaVision’s first spinoff could return for more
WandaVision became one of the MCU’s best TV shows, making full use of the Disney+ platform. The series created several characters for future projects, with Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness being its breakout character. This led to the witch’s solo series, Agatha all the timewhich did not feature Wanda Maximoff’s return to the MCU, despite speculation. However, Scarlet Witch was present on the show in different ways, with Agatha all the time teasing Wanda’s return to the MCU throughout the season.
There are currently no plans to Agatha all the time season 2. However, Kevin Feige said Agatha all the time It was great for Marvel Studios and that fans have since wanted to know more about Wanda. A second season could continue a popular project, with Billy Maximoff and ghost Agatha Harkness meeting Tommy and, surprisingly, Wanda along the way.

A solo Wiccan project
One of Scarlet Witch’s children made a major appearance
Even though Agatha all the time does not return for season 2, the series could still lead to Wanda Maximoff’s next appearance in the MCU. Agatha all the timeKathryn Hahn’s most important character, other than Kathryn Hahn’s witch, was Joe Locke’s “Teen.” After revealing this he was actually Billy Maximoff in the body of the late William Kaplanthe character became even more important, not only for the series, but for the future of the MCU.
Since Agatha Harkness died and became a ghosther and Billy’s quest to find Tommy may not happen in a possible Agatha all the time season 2. Instead, the WandaVision the spinoff could have its own series, with a new project focused on Locke’s Billy. Having Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch appear in a TV series starring one of her children and with a story about finding the other would be appropriate.

Vision
Paul Bettany’s White Vision Is Returning
Agatha all the time is not the only one WandaVision spinoff planned by Marvel. After Olsen starred Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, WandaVisionThe other lead actor, Paul Bettany, will have another important role in the future. Interestingly, Bettany will not appear in another character’s project, but will instead headline Marvel Studios’ upcoming Vision series. The project will be launched in 2026.
Bettany’s White Vision left Westview confused at the end of WandaVision. After some time since the Hex version of Vision shared his memories with the character, it would make sense for White Vision to go after his lost family. The MCU’s Vision series could feature an emotional reunion between him and Wanda. Olsen’s powerful character could help him fight Ultron in what would be an exciting battle.
Marvel Studios’ Vision is a limited series set in the MCU and released on Disney+. It reveals the fate of Paul Bettany’s resurrected Avenger, who was last seen fleeing Westview at the end of 2021’s WandaVision. After the original synthezoid died at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, his body was reassembled by the secret organization SWORD, and his consciousness was restored by Scarlet Witch’s magically recreated version of the robot.

Avengers: Judgment Day
Scarlet Witch can help stop Doctor Doom
There is no bigger project in the next two years that could feature the formal return of Scarlet Witch in the MCU than Avengers: Judgment Day. Wanda Maximoff could play two very different roles in the MCU film. In Marvel Comics, after Scarlet Witch was presumed dead, it was revealed that the character was with Doctor Doom. Not only that, but the two characters began a romance. Robert Downey Jr. debuts as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Judgment Day.
Elizabeth Olsen could return with a shocking twist if Marvel made Doctor Doom and Scarlet Witch allies or even lovers. However, after his villain enters Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness proved controversial, a heroic return is more likely. Scarlet Witch’s immense power and knowledge of the multiverse make her a great asset for the Avengers against Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday is the fifth Avengers film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will bring together heroes, new and old, to face Victor von Doom – played by the returned Robert DOwney Jr.. Avengers 5 will also mark the beginning of phase 6 of the MCU.

Avengers: Secret Wars
The end of the Multiverse saga
Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is a fan-favorite MCU character. As such, it would make sense for her to appear in the next two Avengers films, especially if a redemption arc for Scarlet Witch is playing in the MCU. In the comics, Doctor Doom is initially victorious, being able to create Battleworld, a patchwork planet made up of locations and characters from the multiverse. Avengers: Judgment Day could end with the creation of Battleworld.
Scarlet Witch’s reality-altering powers could be what’s needed to defeat the villain.
God Emperor Doom would be too powerful for virtually any character in the MCU to face. However, Scarlet Witch’s reality-altering powers could be what’s needed to defeat the villain. Not only that, but Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff could also be one of the characters that manages to restore the multiverse after Doom is defeated. Saving the entire multiverse would certainly allow Wanda to redeem herself from her multiversal killing spree.
Avengers: Secret Wars is the sixth Avengers film and is set during phase six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will see several heroes from previous phases return and fight a cosmic threat to rival Thanos, and borrows elements from the Marvel Comics event of the same name.

Armor Wars
Scarlet Witch could help another MCU hero
Armor Wars It’s not normally a project that would need to feature Wanda Maximoff. The story evolved from a Disney+ series to a film before the War Machine-centric project got stuck in development hell. The film is currently in the same boat as Mahershala Ali’s Bladewith a defined lead actor, but no release date or start of production in mind. However, adding key players like Scarlet Witch could move things forward.
Initially conceived as a Disney+ series, Armor Wars is an MCU film centered on Rhodey Rhodes’ mission to honor Tony Stark’s legacy and prevent his Iron Man technology from wreaking havoc when it falls into the wrong hands. Starring Don Cheadle as War Machine, Marvel Studios’ Armor Wars adapts the comic book storyline of the same name to the big screen in the Multiverse Saga.
The way Wanda could end up being Armor Wars it is through White Vision. Paul Bettany’s original vision was created based on Tony Stark’s AI assistant JARVIS As such, it would make sense for White Vision to be involved in a film that is about Iron Man’s legacy and Stark’s technology falling into the wrong hands. With Scarlet Witch helping War Machine, White Vision, and Ironheart, the villains wouldn’t stand a chance.

Young Avengers
A new MCU team that was created
Instead of meeting your children in a Wiccan or Agatha all the time In Season 2, Wanda Maximoff could do this in a team-up movie or series. The MCU introduced many young heroes during the Multiverse Saga. After one of The wondersThe post-credits scenes made it clear that Kamala Khan is assembling her own team – which features Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop – and the Young Avengers are set to debut soon.
There is an important story from the Young Avengers comics that would be perfect to unite Wanda and her children. Marvel Comics’ “Avengers: The Children’s Crusade” put Billy Maximoff in the spotlight, with the character going on a quest to find Scarlet Witch and understand Wanda’s role in the main events of the Marvel Universe. Billy has been shown to be just as confused and curious about his mother’s whereabouts and actions in the MCU as he is in the comics, so a Young Avengers project could follow “The Children’s Crusade.”

X-Men
Scarlet Witch may interact with her Marvel Comics father
Based on her popularity, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch could remain an active part of the MCU for years to come. After the end of the Multiverse Saga, Marvel should debut its version of the X-Men. This could allow the MCU to be truly comic book accurate when it comes to Wanda Maximoff. Scarlet Witch is a mutant in the comics, and She and Quicksilver are Magneto’s children.
An MCU reboot is rumored to happen later Avengers: Secret Wars. Whether that happens or not, Kevin Feige recently said that the X-Men are important to the future of the MCU. It looks like there will be a big focus on the team and mutants in general after the Multiverse Saga ends. This could allow Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch to be part of an entirely new side of Marvel and develop a complex bond with Magneto.

Wonder Man
The character is connected to Wanda in the comics
Marvel Studios only recently confirmed that Disney+’s Wonder Man series is happeningreleasing the first images of the project. The superhero series stars DC star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and stars the actor in the lead role of Simon Williams. The actor-turned-superhero will meet at least one other MCU character in his franchise debut, as Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery was revealed to be Simon’s friend in the show’s first teaser.
This could be expanded upon in the series, with more MCU characters appearing in Wonder Man. In the comics, Simon Williams and Wanda Maximoff dated. The characters reunite after Vision is assembled without his memories. The setup is similar to the MCU’s White Vision story, so Wanda could make a surprise return and start a relationship with Simon Williams in Wonder Man next year.
Launching on Disney+ as a limited series, Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man introduces the titular Avengers hero to the MCU. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as actor-turned-superhero Simon Williams, Wonder Man also features Ben Kingsley, who reprises his role from Iron Man 3, and Shang-Chi as eccentric dramatic actor Trevor Slattery.
