Netflix has released a trailer for Woman of the hour. The film stars Anna Kendrick, who is also directing in her first feature, and follows the real-life story of a woman and a serial killer who meet on a dating show. Woman of the hour is based on serial killer Rodney Alcala, played by Daniel Zovatto in the film, which aired in The dating game In the middle of his murder. Kendrick stars as contestant Cheryl Bradshaw, who becomes entangled with Rodney after they both appear on the show.

Now, just over a year after its premiere, the streamer has released the trailer for the film. The clip features two scenes, both taking place during a date between Cheryl and Rodney. A conversation between the two is seen going south, with Cheryl signaling to the waitress that she would like the day to be over.
The other scene sees Rodney and Cheryl in a parking lot after the date. When Rodney asks for Cheryl’s phone number again, it’s clear that she gave him a fake one that she can’t repeat. Given the success of Monster And many of Netflix’s true-crime series and movies, it seems Woman of the hour Could be a huge hit for the streamer. The film already has a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score and a star in Kendrick, so Woman of the hour is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the streamer’s library. Whether it has the ability to break through the crowded landscape and make an impact, however, remains to be seen.
