Taking the audience out of the action-packed moment, the Brothers Trailer continues by explaining that “Some families have a long line of dentists or lawyers,” but the family has a long line of “FelonsFrom there, the two brothers used to get together on vacation, even though one of them, Brolins, is a reformed criminal.
What the Brothers trailer reveals about the film
Brothers leans more into comedy than action
The final frame lists the main creative team behind Brothers. In addition to Barbakov as director, the screenplay is written by Macon Blair and the story is by Ethan Cohen (not to be confused with Ethan Cohen of the Cohen Brothers). Blair is an actor who has appeared in films such as Blue Ruin And Green roomBut he also has experience with screenwriting, including for I don’t feel at home in this world anymore And The toxic revenge. Cohen wrote works like Holmes & Watson And Men in Black 3The latter of which also starred Brolin.
There are moments of elaborate stunt work, such as when a character falls from a building, but overall it seems to focus on the relationships between the main characters.
Besides the creative team itself, the Brothers Trailer gives a great taste of what this action-comedy is bound to be like. While the main characters seem to be on the run of Fraser’s character, who wants his emeralds, the trailer lies much more in the comedy than the action side of it. There are moments of elaborate stunt work, such as when a character falls from a building, but overall it seems to focus on the relationships between the main characters.
Our take on the Brothers trailer
Brothers is an exciting Peter Dinklage role
Watching the trailer for BrothersI’m particularly struck by the potential that this film has to become a big moment in Dinklage’s career. I loved him in his broad roles, from the Emmy-winning Game of Thrones to be early performance in The station agent. Brothers Will give Dinklage the opportunity to rid himself of a major franchise like Game of Thrones And The Hunger Games To play an original character in an appealing comedy. The Brothers Trailer already looks to be a big Dinklage role, and one I’m excited to see develop into the full film.
